90-day Reddit mention audit · prepared for ABcard (abcard.io)
I used to rely heavily on Privacy.com and Revolut virtual cards to pay for all my foreign streaming subscriptions, primarily YouTube Premium and Crunchyroll in Argentina and Turkey. However, it seems like over the last few months, all the major streaming platforms have completely blacklisted US-issued Visa and Mastercards, even the virtual ones. Every time I try to update my payment method, I get a strict card issuing country that must match the billing region error message.
Does anyone have a current, working method for getting a VCC that actually registers as a local card to Argentina or Turkey? I'm trying to renew my group's subscriptions before we all lose access, but I keep hitting a brick wall. Have any of you had success using crypto-funded virtual cards like RedotPay or PST.net for streaming arbitrage recently? I am totally willing to pay a small top-up fee if it means keeping my subscription low. Please share what payment methods are still successfully bypassing the regional card blocks right now, because my usual methods are completely dead.
