It works about the same on different platforms. I'm only familiar with how emcd does things, but ViaBtc has one too. I don't do things there, so you'll have to reasearch the inticasies by yourself. What the entire idea boils down to is: you have some bitcoin that you don't want to sell for whatever reason. Your coins get locked and you get the equivalent in usdt\\usdc which you can do whatever you want with. Then you just pay off whatever you loaned and get access to your btc back.

Yes, It had better be a blip, however VIABTC pool still showing 45 sats/TH yet gomining claims 42/TH We will see tomorrow

Almost every pool has one. The quality however varies from pool to pool. Viabtc, Foundry, Binance and so on are solid choices in this regard. Though, from my experience it's hard to meet one that isn't obnoxious or overbearing in design.

the cost to mine a bitcoin in home/hobbiest conditions (unless youre using a lottery miner like a bitaxe) is roughly 90k its not even close to break even- look into mining pools if you really want to participate. Foundry, AntPool, and viaBTC are all widely used

Yes! I agree, P2Pool needs more usage. The main difference is that our majority pools are owned by people in our community. Does that mean they are immune? Absolutely not. But I trust them a lot more to have our interests in mind than I do ViaBTC or any other corporate mining companies.

Copying this from other comment I made: The only thing needed for this freeze on private transactions was a few extremely centralized miners (viabtc alone could have been enough) adopting new consensus rules. They did not need full consensus because any blocks that attempted to mine transactions with the private pool could just be orphaned by larger miners. This had no community-wide stamp of approval, just that of the corporate-owned ASIC farms.

No. It's brand new. Just turned it on and had it solo mining on viabtc. Less than a day later I got the message viabtc no longer allows solo mining. I will move it to ckpool this weekend. This is one of the Plebsource Red Panda Mining BC-04 edition.

I used to have the same problem until I switched to viaBTC to mine BCH

Its a solid device just ensure to let it rest for a good 8 hours every few weeks. Also let it air out properly u will need a fan or an exhaust it does emit heat. The stability is great. I use viaBTC pool for dual mining.

Just debating on Best pool. I like the interface and such for viabtc but solock seems to find way more blocks. Should I just stay locked in on via or try solo ck?

Hey guys was trying to connect these bitaxe machines to viabtc just so I can control and monitor them all in the same place. As I see some of you fellas have been mining solo bch cash blocks. I'm basically for a month trying to dedicate all my hashing power to it giving me a 1/10 chance per month maybe I'll get super lucky and hit two. Whenever I go to viabtc to "add workers" I don't see exactly any where to do so nor when I tried adding a my wallet address into a bitaxe I don't know what credentials to put where besides the wallet address. Any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated. Regards!
