For high-temperature or corrosive service, I would start by separating the decision into valve duty, pressure class, end connection, body/trim material, and the standard the owner actually accepts. A cheap valve that technically fits the line size can still be the wrong pick if the seat material, test standard, or face-to-face dimension creates maintenance problems later.
