I think it’s a knife rest. There are a lot of different styles of them. Search porcelain knife rest and you can see what I mean. Edit to add link of example [knife rest example](https://www.selency.co.uk/p/HB3T55AR/6-vintage-knife-holders)

We still have one at my parent's house similar to this one: https://www.selency.fr/p/3KF7A97W/table-salle-a-manger?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=FR_PM_Medium_Price&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=18467834341&tw_kwdid=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=18467835976&gclid=CjwKCAjw-J3OBhBuEiwAwqZ_h2eWob_NPI_eZEkDqcJ9yn0zv0wptImOmvLATEM-c4biQFDeP9GmIxoCISEQAvD_BwE

About furniture: BUT is quite low quality on the spectrum of furniture brands, actually worse than IKEA, but yes the price will be as low as it can get. La Redoute can be ok for some pieces, check out their brand called AMPM which is better in quality (and in design too imo) than their main brand LR. I do recommend LR for your linen and tableware (decent prices and wide choice). Maisons du monde is very heterogenous in quality - they’ll have some nice solid wood tables but poorly made other casegoods, so don’t get fooled by the low prices, always check out their pieces in store first. Same goes for Kave Home. If that’s your taste we now have RH (Restoration Hardware) here in France, which you might be familiar with. Have a look at Selency if you’re into vintage / design pieces, they are reliable and have a wide catalogue. Also have a look at Roche Bobois, Minotti, Duvivier Canapés (through a reseller), BoConcept, The Socialite Family <- all these brands make durable furniture, so if you find secondhand pieces in good condition, it is a very good option (leboncoin is our Craigslist) Cheaper options: Bobochic, Bolia, Habitat, NV Gallery, Tikamoon, AMPM Madeindesign.com is a marketplace which lots of different brands you can explore. As you probably guessed I’m an interior designer so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need more help!

Space age buffet / sideboard. Can't find too much info but this site claims it "Comes from a TV set for the mtv germany show." As you may have found, there are a couple of pairings by this artist for sale on Etsy for low three digit #s, and one that sold on a .nl domain site. The latter info states: “Larsson was a Swedish painter known for tranquil landscapes and nature-inspired scenes. His work often reflects a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of the Scandinavian countryside, rendered with subtle tonal shifts and a contemplative mood.” That site also has an evocative description of their painting that could apply here. (https://www.selency.nl/p/R727D63H/trees-and-lake-by-h-larsson) But the lack of further listings suggests not “famous”, but of value to someone who likes that type of serene stillness suggested in this type of landscape, and the gentle painterly treatment. I would hang it. Swedish internet might have more info.

agrre, quite expensive, but the benefit is that they have a very carefully curated inventory, with only vetted sellers...that explains the cost of their commissions (and why the sellers increase their initial price to add that commission on their own price). You can try Whoppah or Selency, even if their inventory is less curated.
