While can't fix friend #2, after wedding I shared [https://weduploader.com/](https://weduploader.com/) with guests (used to be free but seems like they charge $39 now) and it connects to google drive (or just share a google drive link direct works too). If there's a chance of your man in tears, don't be hesitant about asking your guests to share with you in a post-wedding email/texts. It's not common but prob one of fun things post-wedding was to see everyone's angle/pics and see how they enjoyed your special day you put some much time/money/heart on.

Most of the paid options involved signing up (just you, not your guests) and creating a page where guests could scan a QR code to upload photos. They weren't expensive, and many offered unlimited uploads. We talked to our friends and siblings (they're the most likely to share photos), and since everyone has a Gmail account, we decided to use Google Drive, which is free. But among the paid options, we were impressed with weduploader.com. Someone also suggested filedrop.com, which sounds promising as it's free and doesn't require any sign-up, but I didn't look into it. Cheers!

We just designed our invitations on Canva then published it as a live Canva website. We sent the link to our guests then printed a few for our parents and principal sponsors. What we really spent on was our digital album so our guests could share high-res photos and videos with us. They go straight to our Google Drive but there's no risk of anyone accidentally deleting files. We used Weduploader and you could also include some relevant links. In our case, we linked the invitation, Google Maps and Waze. Yun na sinend namin when we sent out our final reminders to those who confirmed. Displayed the QR code during the reception and sent the link to attendees after. It cost around Php 1k but totally optional. It was really just a priority for us to get photos and videos that are not pixelated hehe Hope this helps!

We used https://weduploader.com/ :) We paid P999 for unli uploads. No need for guests to sign in or make an account. Scan the QR Code lang tapos upload na. The photos automatically upload to your Google Drive, so it won't expire rin. Super sulit and seamless in our opinion, compared to other similar apps.

Jumping in as someone who built a similar platform (Picaggo) — so take this with that context, but I can give you an honest comparison. WedUploader is solid for the basics — QR upload, straight to Google Drive, simple. The limitation is that it's purely passive. Guests still have to remember to scan and upload, which means you'll get some photos but not everything. What we built differently with Picaggo: Guests who download the optional app have photos uploaded automatically in the background as they take them — no scanning, no remembering, no interrupting the celebration. They just enjoy the wedding. Smart Sync does the work silently. You also get the photographer's gallery and guest photos merged into one complete album automatically, a live photo wall for the reception, a digital guestbook, and AI face recognition that finds every photo you're in without scrolling. Guests can also delete photos from their phone's local storage once uploaded — nobody wants hundreds of wedding photos eating up their camera roll for months. And the host can connect Google Drive to back up the full album automatically. Your memories live in your own Google Drive, not just ours. The couple in this thread did something really smart — the scavenger hunt and awards to encourage uploads. That's exactly the right instinct. With Picaggo's hands-free mode, you get that participation without needing the nudge. Free to try before you commit — set up a test event and experience exactly how it feels before your wedding day. [picaggo.com/weddings](http://picaggo.com/weddings) — happy to answer any questions.

At the back of the well-wishes card received by each guest we included a big QR Code to our online photo album. The QR Code was also routinely shown during the program + emphasized na best shot of the night gets an award. We used this app for the photo album. It's 1k only, pero the experience of having photos before the event even ended was priceless! Okay rin kasi collated na instead of people just sending sa messenger etc. Super sulit in our opinion. https://weduploader.com/

My husband and I don’t care too much about photos so we decided to forgo spending thousands on a photographer. I set up a FREE photo account through WedUploader and put QR codes all around for my guests. We also specifically put on our website that we will have no photographer so we’d appreciate any photos snapped by guests. This worked fantastically, we got sooo many photos and videos. We also did disposable cameras but only did 6. Out of the roughly 150 photos…more than half were just black. I don’t think people remembered or knew to turn on the flash. The majority of the “good” (not all black) ones were people in the middle of talking or eating. Generally, the flash was very unflattering, especially for anyone wearing makeup. There were only about 3 out of all 150ish photos that I thought were good. I would consider disposables more for a day time wedding than evening wedding.

Kululu, Weduploader, [Knipsmig](https://knipsmig.com/best/wedding-photo-apps), POV and GuestPix are all good options for this.
