Then Atomic Heart 2 is gonna be Bioshock 5?
I’d love this as a dlc in atomic heart 2, would be cool to see it coming true
Well RE9, code vein 2, Nioh 3 id say were definitely nowhere near as good as RE8, CV1, Nioh 2 respectively so that was fairly disappointing. But requiem had its moments like basement and east RC while the other two have very solid boss rosters so still pretty enjoyable.
I don’t think I will enjoy first light nearly as much as Hitman 3 let alone Hitman 1/2.
Pragmata was actually really neat but no harder difficulty available in NG kinda sucks. Also it takes a few hours to stop being extremely tame gameplay wise
Saros modifiers and 8 distinct biomes made it actually playable without being insanely punishing, I had never played something quite like it as a AAA 3D bullet hell so it was pretty cool and the bosses were quite good. It was intense the whole time. Pleasant surprise but still probably won’t make my top 10 favorite of the year
Directive 8020 is coming up really fast so hopefully that is awesome
As a big soulslike or similar fan, mortal shell 2, lords of the fallen 2, phantom blade zero are my most anticipated games. PBZ is the one I have extremely high hopes for.
Let’s see how wild GTAVI is but it’s kinda whatever. Still want it to happen to get that Miami part of the GTA city trilogy
Onimusha I hope is badass. Fable is an intriguing one. Don’t even know if Judas, Tides of Annihilation, Jurassic Park Survival, Atomic Heart 2 will come out this year

Atomic Heart 2
Excited for metro.
Also excited for atomic heart 2 even tho the first was a let down, fingers crossed they learned from it.
TF atomic heart 2 is coming out this year ?
Yes, Atomic Heart 2 is in development and a multiplayer game known as the cube is in development as well. Atomic Heart 2 is slated to release this year. Hopefully we get more news on the game at Summer Games Fest!
Rtx 3060ti. plays everything i need even bf6 and crimson desert at decent settings. Dlss 4 has been good before this i had an rtx 9070xt but sold it i game less and less and the games I do play are usually 10 plus years old at this point. Might have to upgrade for atomic heart 2 though
It's going to be interesting to compare Atomic Heart 2 to it's initial trailer if it ever actually comes out.
Liked the base game in the well...bases. The open world was total shit but you can breeze through it.
The DLCs absolutely glorious and really long though - together they are a lot longer than the base game with better gameplay, writing and humor.
All in all I would give an 8/10 and I am really looking forward to Atomic Heart 2
Played the base game a while ago, finished with the Leave ending (meaning no >!Twins fight!<), when back to the game around the time of Blood on Crystal's launch to do the Pursue ending and all the DLCs. I do not consider myself a "Shooter Guy". But Atomic Heart was genuinely fun for me. Except for the slide parts of DLC 2.
I love how each enemy serves a purpose both in and out of combat. Vovas are lab assistants, Laborers work in logging, Bumblebees tow cargo. And the organic enemies (minus the Plyusch) are at like just enough of a tolerable level of horror to not totally wig me out while still being creepy (I am NOT good with super gory stuff a lot of the time).
A lot of people have a big sticking point with Sergey. But, especially over the course of the DLCs where he >!reunites with Katya and meets some genuinely nice and well-intentioned people wholly disconnected from the scheming of the Politburo.!< I found myself liking him quite a bit. And I like his romance with >!Katya.!< I wouldn't put it at the same level as the main couples of Xenoblade, or Tidus & Yuna, but it's still sweet (especially if you find the Chirper in DLC 2 that plays the >!moment he proposed.!<). Oh and if anyone finds the English acting to be jank as hell, turn the audio to Russian it's way better. One other thing I liked was the actual justification of the "Crispy critters/Fucking pastries" line.
Gameplay, solid. Easy to jump in and get acclimated again after a long time away. Loved the addition of the Whip in DLC 3, but I wish that DLC 4 would've given me the chance to just have all of my powers and all of my upgrades, instead of giving me baseline versions of them at predetermined points to pick from and cycle in and out, while tying character upgrades to finding collectibles.
And the music, what else can I say other than MAN them Ruskies have some bangers. Trava u Doma, Arlekino, Moy Nenaglyadnyy, and Pozovi menya s soboy (if any Russians see those last two and wanna tell me those are wrong, my bad I used Google Translate) are all fantastic tunes I listen to regularly now.
So yea, Mundfish is pretty damn good at this if they can get a guy like me to have not just a good, but a great time with an FPS. I eagerly await Atomic Heart 2, and may even check out The CUBE.

If I see AI in Atomic Heart 2, it will be the most depressing thing ever seen.
I wonder what Sechenov will do in Atomic Heart 2. Maybe he'll retire because he will have grown old by the time of the second part. And he won't influence the events of the second part because of it.

Imagine if Nora returns in atomic heart 2 and they gave her a humanoid like design like this. That would be epic and I could see something like this being her actual design if she was a human.

Yes, but usually we get at least four really good announcements.
Last year they revealed RE requiem, Atomic Heart 2, Mortal Shell 2, and that one horror game from Mundfish that looked promising

It's fine to be hesitant of purchasing any game. We can slow down the adaptation rate.

I find that they’re all a bit too friendly with him at the end of DLC 4, but I think it’s mainly for comedic effect. I just hope that changes in *Atomic Heart 2*.
\- Katya said she wants revenge on him
\- Granny Zina wants to make him suffer
\- P-3, in the Limbo DLC, seemed set on getting revenge, but in DLC 3 he gives the impression that he either forgot about it or just doesn’t care anymore
It’s just a thought I’m writing down like this I might be forgetting some things.

First try at final boss was softlocked. Was really dissapointing, but Im still extremely satisfied with the DLC. Honestly, Blood on Crystal is kind of better than the original campaign and the other 3 DLCs combined. Such a cinema, hope they make Atomic Heart 2 an even better game
I genuinly have close to 0 idea on what the second game is goona be about so ¿do ya'll know anything about what might happen in A.H 2? Are we goona fight aliens? Cause that would be cool with the soviet comunist vs aliens
1. "But it's to speed up development so Mundfish can focus on AH2 and The Cube!"
If Mundfish is willing to be lazy and cut corners, why wouldn't they also be lazy and cut corners in Atomic Heart 2 or The Cube?
2. "It's just posters! Play the damn game!"
The artwork *is* the game. There is no game if there's nothing to look at. And I would rather look at human-made details rather than shitty AI ones
3. "But it's lore accurate!"
A human can make these posters, and they can just be called "AI-generated." TADC is about an AI generating things, but you don't see Gooseworx using AI
4. "But the game parodies AI!"
I can punch a baby in the face and then say that punching baby faces is wrong, but it still doesn't change the fact that I punched a baby's face.

AH2 will likely be a 2027 thing unfortunately, I doubt I’ll play the cube i enjoy atomic heart for the story of sergey and katya and the world around them lol
I love the narrative of DLC four and I want more so I’m hoping atomic heart too will happen I really like the relationship between P3 and Katya and the whole thing etc
Can't wait for atomic heart 2 and the cube. Gonna be fun.
I'm playing through the base game for the first time. I definitely understand the complaints about the overworld, I wish it was a bit easier to explore, BUT I do feel like Mundfish created something really fun when you're in the main areas of the game. The dialogue is pretty cringe at first, but the atmosphere and the overall gameplay makes time pass fast. I'm waiting to finish the base game to see if I'll dabble in the DLCs, but since they supposedly are tied to the upcoming Atomic Heart 2 and The Cube, I'll probably check them out.
Also, I have a feeling Mundfish in gonna knock it out of the park with AH2, as they have a really solid and fun foundation, and I hear DLCs are even better.

I think that atomic heart 2 will continue from dlc 1 and not dlc 4, I think that dlc 2, 3 and now 4 are just an alternative version where we decided to attack Siechenow at chelomay and unfortunately allow Charles to take control, idk tho, I guess everything will be confirmed after the dlc 4, Charles is a weird villain don't know if he fits for AH2

1. Dark Souls 3 - My favorite game of all time (So far). It was my first Fromsoftware Game and man is it a good one. I’d say Elden Ring is on par with or better than Dark Souls 3 after the DLC but I haven’t played it on PC yet (Originally 100% it on Console) so this might change once I do.
2. Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Or Mass Effect 2 LE if I had to pick one 😅) - It almost broke me to pick between my second and third place spot but, although this might change once Atomic Heart 2 comes out, Mass Effect LE is just a more complete story so I couldn’t put Atomic Heart above it even though I think it’s probably a better game.
2. Atomic Heart - It feels like it’s only just started but man is Atomic Heart a good story. I played it when it first came out on Xbox Game Pass but I dropped it. That was such a humble but I’m glad I picked it up again on PC and gave it another go because JESUS is it good. I can’t wait for the 4th DLC to come out tomorrow!
3. Fallout New Vegas - Man do I love New Vegas. I don’t have much to say on it compared to the other but it’s really good, especially if you like the Post-Apocalyptic Cowboy theme I like.
4. Kingdom Come Deliverance II - While I have a few gripes with the game (Mainly with the helmets 😅), they made a Great RPG. The combat, sieges, story and the romances are all incredible. I wish we had a more combat oriented DLC in it like Band of Bastards from KCD1 but I’m excited Warhorse’s next game. I heard they’re making a Lord of The Rings RPG so I’m doubly excited if that’s true.
5. The Outer Worlds - I didn’t really like the sequel but the first Outer Worlds really did it well. The DLCs are great. I’m wasn’t/ain’t a fan of the combat but imo I can easily overlook that. The story and the world is just so good. I feel like they really watered it down in the 2nd game but maybe the DLC (If we ever get any) will be good? 😅🤷♂️
6. Dispatch - One of my main gripes with the old Telltale games how clunky it was when they made you look around for stuff and control the character.. Well the creators of Dispatch got rid of/didnt use that function at all so problem solved. 😂
In all seriousness, I love Dispatch and can’t wait for Season 2 or whatever AdHoc has up next. The writing and character designs are just so good. Wish they let you romance Malevola but maybe next season.
7. Marvel Rivals - It’s just fun. 😅 I love Marvel and stuff, and it’s one of the only Multiplayer Games I’m pretty good at. I like to try and collect the most comic-accurate skins I can and I love playing as Deadpool.
8. Pillars of Eternity - I’m not the biggest fan of CRPGs but Pillars of Eternity is one of my exceptions. I love the story, lore and just the Godlike concept in general. I was really disappointed with Avowed and I wasn’t a big fan of Deadfire but the first game is a lot of fun and would recommend it.
9. Divinity: Original Sin 2 - I had a rough go of it when I first tried it. I started off right after I had finished BG3 on my Xbox and just got my PC. I really like Spellswords so I had a hard time adjusting to the seperate Magic and Physical armor but I ended up going a Death Knight type build because Necromancy spells do physical damage so it turned out great!
10. Kingdom Come Deliverance - It’s definitely not as good as the 2nd game and the armor is atrocious but the story and characters are just really good.
Note: I didn’t add certain ones because I’m only counting games I’ve played on my PC and I’m slowly working through my Steam/GOG Backlog. I on making another post at the end of the year after I’ve finished more games if the list changes. Idk why I feel the need to tell people like yall will care but just in case. 😅

The characterization might be shit, but Atomic Heart had a good idea with clumsy execution. Genuinely hyped for AH2
Made this poster after Atomic Heart 2 was announced
Honestly, I loved this game. I saw a lot of people complaining about the open world, but even on hard difficulty, it was quite easy to traverse the main areas of the map and complete the dungeons. I understood the frustration with the static enemies, but I didn't see the problem, telekinesis made things much easier in those areas.
I came expecting a Soviet Bioshock, since I love Bioshock and System Shock. But I ended up playing a Soviet Cyberpunk!
The only similarity I found with Bioshock was the powers, but everything else reminded me of Cyberpunk 2077. Gunplay where you have to dash, scan to detect enemies, and loot (it was only missing hacking! Even shooting beams at security cameras seemed like a way to avoid detection). The references to the city of the future and of tomorrow... the computer interface, almost identical when reading messages, the obsession of many scientists with evolving, living longer, and exploring space... Seriously! Did no one else notice that it's like watching Cyberpunk taken to a communist level? While Cyberpunk usually focuses its aesthetic on the decay and pollution caused by capitalist corporations... this universe is like its mirror image! A communist world that "looks clean" and where "everyone" obtains goods in the same way, thanks to communism.
This was just another detail that made me connect, but the insult "Crispy critters" reminded me a lot of when V always said "Tin Head/Brain." Also, having an AI companion in your glove that engages you in conversations and helps you understand situations... Charles and Johnny seem very similar to me (even at the end of the game, you can choose similar fates for both).
I feel like the Far Cry style semi open world was an experiment to see what they really wanted to do. Watching the Atomic Heart 2 trailer with its entertainment areas and now with more human activity, it seems they want to make Night City the main hub and the dystopian setting where the story will take us.
I'm currently finishing the first DLC and I'm really looking forward to completing the next two so I can buy the one that release in April.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the Annihilation Instinct PEARs talk of Mars, that they found something in the Martian soil and think it's better to not go there, the discovery was covered up. Even mentioning the Great Filter! Then the trailer for Atomic Heart II talks about alien life? HMM

I was going through the latest roundup of upcoming PS5 games (2026 and beyond) over on GamesRadar and damn, it’s shaping up to be an insane couple of years for the platform. There’s a mix of big AAA, intriguing indies, remasters, and just weird-cool stuff that could surprise us all.
Here are some that caught my eye from the list:
Confirmed/2026 Releases:
* Resident Evil Requiem
* Crimson Desert
* Pragmata
* 007: First Light
* Atomic Heart 2
* MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra
* Phantom Blade 0
* GTA 6
* Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis
* Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Other things on the TBC list (still no dates):
* Good Boy
* Super Meat Boy 3D
* John Wick game
* Infinitesimals
* Tomb Raider: Catalyst
There’s tons more on the full schedule, and I’m sure I missed some gems in the mix.
**So tell me; what PS5 title are you personally most hyped for?**
