make sure when you’re ordering your size you pay attention to the sizing system a bra brand uses, UK vs US! British brands like Curvy Kate or Freya, you must order your UK size, whereas US brands like Wacoal or Natori will follow the US sequence. UK Progression: After DD, the UK sequence adds an "E" and then cycles through double letters (F, FF, G, GG, H, HH), skipping the letter "I" entirely to prevent confusion with the number "1". US Progression: After DD, the US usually adds "DDD" (sometimes labeled as an F) and then simply proceeds up the alphabet to G, H, I, J, etc.

In Skarlett Blue the Entice lace balconette is a good try. With Natori I will say that Feathers is one of the shallowest bras out there, so you may not want to start with that one.
comment r/ABraThatFits u/galaxystarsmoon 2026-05-19
I would stick with 36 bands with these numbers and the fact that you didn't find the bands to be uncomfortable. Natori can run small in some styles, and you can either use a non-stretch extender or sister size up a band, down a cup. I would try both sizes if you do that, so you can compare the extender fit versus going up a band. Your tight is 33 so a 38 band is real iffy.
comment r/ABraThatFits u/starzychik01 2026-05-19
Nope. I am shallow and Natori is one of the best fitting for me. I can’t normally wear 32bands as they are too loose, but 32 bands in Natori fit fine. Most of Natori’s 30 bands won’t close when I try them. When I try the 30 backwards for a band test, they are so tight it is painful. When I go up a cup size in the 32 band, the cup is far too big. It’s definitely just the brand overall.

I’ve tried many bras as recommended by stylists at Nordstrom, Chantelle & Bravissimo. None have felt right. Panache, Freya & Fantasie are too projected for me and gore is uncomfortable. Chantelle was definitely much better but 36EUK & 36FUK both had fit issues and were uncomfortable. I’m thinking next I try Natori (Feathers, Radiance, Love Lace) & Skarlett Blue? What size do I try and styles should I focus on? 38DDUK was recommended by Natori. Measurements: Loose Underbust: 36.5 Snug Underbust: 36 Tight Underbust: 33 Standing Bust: 41 Leaning Bust: 43 Lying Bust: 41 36F UK Styles/Sizes Tried & Notes: Chantelle Norah 36F - Update: after trying again, the cups seem to be too wide for my shape. I feel the cups extending over into my armpit area and bunching up. Left breast is filled out well in cup. Right breast has some wrinkling and space at top. Otherwise, comfortable. Worn for multiple hours and haven’t noticed it much. Gore is super comfy. No armpit discomfort. I only notice it feels tighter when I’m lying down. It does seem like my breasts are pointing outwards in the bra and I’d prefer a bra that brings them closer together. Chantelle Norah 36E - gore digging in slightly, cups for breast better & don’t go too far into armpit area. Chantelle Norah Chic Plunge 36E - slight left breast spillage, slight underarm discomfort/chaffing feeling. I love the look of this bra/the plunge but prefer the comfort from the classic Norah bra. Chantelle Norah Chic Plunge 36F - Cups are too roomy. Wrinkled look. Gore feels great. Underarms are kind of noticeable. Chantelle C Essential 36E - cups too big, breasts don’t fill the cups fully/gaps at top of cups. Didn’t try the 36F since 36E was too big. Wacoal modern affair 36ddd - armpit area is a bit uncomfortable/digging in, everything else fits well. Love the style. Freya Tailored High Apex 36E - cups are slightly baggy at tops. Gore is ever so slightly digging in/uncomfy and I don’t like how high the gore is or the general style Fantasie reflect 36e - gore digging in. Everything else feels perfect. Fantasie Reflect 36F - a little room in the top of both cups but not terrible. Cups feel wide. Cups don’t feel as form fitting at other styles I’ve tried. Freya offbeat 36f - gore digging, very comfortable otherwise Freya offbeat 36e - underwire feels too tight band feels snug. Armpits feel great. Fantasie illusion 36e - discomfort in armpits Fantasie illusion 36f - slight gore discomfort, slight cup underwire digging in. Panache Ana 36F UK - slight digging in feeling in the gore. It’s uncomfortable after 30 min of wearing it. I did the backwards/upside down trick and the band fit well. My right breast is smaller and had more room/extra fabric on top of the cup compared to left breast. Panache Ana 36FF UK - I put it on and thought it was a completely different style, felt more comfortable in the gore area. Initially, feeling a bit of discomfort in the armpit area as if the cups are too high up into my armpit. Extra fabric on top of the cup in both breasts but not in a bothersome/overly baggy way. 30 min in and the armpit area is uncomfortable/cups too high. Comfy everywhere else. Panache Envy 36FUK - tops are noticeably loose on both breast, gore digs in Panache Envy 36FFUK - top of cups are too large/roomy/loose, gore still digging, armpits uncomfortable

Natori are very shallow, way too shallow for me. I did own 5-6 Natori bras in my teens/early 20s. I don't need anything molded and I loathe padding with a passion, lol. I'm glad you found one that works for you and is comfy!!

First of all, I’m assuming the answer is the situation can’t be saved, and I should just consider this as sunk cost and donate it, but I just wanted to ask if anyone had ideas! I bought a bra while traveling, so I can’t return it, a Natori “cherry blossom lace plunge T-shirt bra” in 30G (US sizes) (https://lingerieliving.com/collections/bras/products/natori-cherry-blossom-lace-plunge-t-shirt-bra-cameo-rose?\_pos=8&\_fid=548d9d8f2&\_ss=c&variant=48534783000852). It fits perfectly when I’m standing still, but after purchase, I realized that within several minutes of movement, my breasts fall forward/inwards out of the shallow cup (it originally covered the areola at least!), and the lace that covers rest of the breast isn’t structural enough to hold them back, so then the fabric just cuts diagonally across the boob, and the bisected silhouette is pretty obvious under a shirt. I’ve salvaged a bra before using a clasp extender, which I didn’t know about previously, so I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas or hacks about a way to get a bit more life out of this bra, or if I should just get rid of it! Understand if not, and now I know to jump around a lot in the dressing room. Thanks!

None of my old bras fit. My boobs shrank somehow and I was wearing 32D/DD Natori precision and other various Natori bras but my measurements indicated 28E. I also have projected, center full, full on bottom, narrow roots. I’m looking for plunge, t shirt, and unlined. But I want good support bc I feel saggy. Thanks!!!

hello! I am looking for a strapless bra that creates lift for my wedding dress. I prefer a bra over boob tape because I'm worried I'll be too stressed to do it correctly the day of. My dress does have boning, but the tailor recommended a strapless bra for a lifted look (which I want). It has a sweetheart neckline. I measured myself and the calculator gave me 30DD/30DDD. Measurements: Loose underbust 29in, snug 28.5, tight 27.5, standing bust 33.5, leaning bust 35, lying bust 34. I've tried on: \- SKIMS Ultimate push up bra in 32C and 30D – both were too small in band and cup \- VS Push up bras in 32C – gore did not track completely and band felt a bit too big, but I think this one gave me the least "compressed" look \- Calvin Klein push up bra in 32C – too small cups \- Natori Pure Luxe Strapless Contour Underwire Bra in 30DD and 30DDD – 30DD felt too small all around (band and cups) and 30DDD the cups felt too tall? And the bra doesn't necessarily compress in 30DDD but doesn't create lift either, so not exactly what I'm looking for \- Intimissimi Giada Microfiber Bandeau Bra in 34B and 32D – 34B cups too small, 32D band too big \- Wacaol Self Assured Push Up Strapless Bra in 32D (bra didn't have anything closer to my size) band felt too big, didn't notice a lift but could be because the band was too big? Thinking about trying: \- Wacaol Self Assured Push Up Strapless Bra in in 32C (they don't carry band sizes smaller than 32) \- btempt'd Future Foundation Underwire Strapless Push-Up Bra in 30D (Nordstrom doesn't have 30DD or 30DDD but I have a feeling 30D will be too tight) Any advice or recommendations?

I've amassed a large amount of nicer bras in the last couple of years (Natori, Simone Perele, Eberjey, Chantelle & Wacoal) but sadly my boobs are no longer as full as they used to be. My back is happier though. You win some you lose some. Since I have so many, I was able to rotate them & all are gently used/in great condition (straps & bands aren't stretched out, cups are in good shape). Any recommendations for women's shelters that will take them? I'd rather not donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army. Thanks in advance, b's!

So this might be a weird question but where should the edge of your bra cup be? My cup is ending under my arm in my armpit and it makes the fit feel weird. It feels like that edge of the cup is empty but whenever I move, I spill out the front of the cups. The bra I've been wearing is a plunge style natori US 32 G. When I either push my breasts apart or pull the bra together, they do seem to fit the cups well enough. It just doesn't seem like the cups are positioned correctly for me. I did the measurements and used the calculator and it says suggested 30 G/H or sister size 32 DDD/G. The measurements were 31, 30, 29, 37.5, 38, 37. Suggestions? I am not sure if this is a brand issue or a sizing issue but it just doesn't fit right

With the disappearance of big department stores in Canada, it’s difficult to find bras that fit nicely with the overwhelming presence of La Senza, La Vie en Rose. I refuse Walmart. I’ve had success with some of La Vie en Rose mesh bralettes. According to the calculator 36B is the size and it’s been confirmed with my best fit which is a Natori Flora. Anyone has early feedback on that new model from LVER? I'm a bit confused about sizing and hoping someone could provide some guidance! I did a first round of measurements for the calculator (Measurements: 31.5, 31, 30.5, 34.5, 35, 34.25) and I was either a 32 C or 32 D. I ordered a 32 C Natori Soft Focus Comfort Underwire Demi Bra and it while it is lovely (so soft!), the band is way too tight. When clasped on the loosest clasp, I don't even think I can take a full breath in. So I re-did my measurements with some help (Measurements Round 2: 31.5, 31, 30.75, 34, 35.5, 33.5) and now I'm solidly 32 D. I guess my question is, is there that much of a difference between 32 C and D? I felt like the 32 C actually fit decently in the cups - no gaping and I almost had cleavage for the first time in my life. But I am worried based on how tight the band of the 32 C was. Will moving to a 32 D make that much of a difference or is a 32 a 32 in bands? I did use the scoop and swoop method when trying on. I THINK that I have shallow breasts - they are more wide set and fuller at the bottom than the top. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hey, I know this is normally for women asking for themselves, but I'm in a bit of a pickle here and I'm hoping it's alright for me to ask some things. My wife doesn't like to buy herself nice/expensive underwear and bras, but she's constantly uncomfortable, so last year I bought her some Natori bras and she uses them religiously. The problem is that she's lost some weight and I want her to have more than two bras that are both the same full-coverage style. My question is part bras and part underwear. The first question about bras; My wife is a 32G. I bought her previous bras from Natori, so I've been shopping there again, but they don't have many styles in this size right now it seems (at least online). But I want her to have something other than a full-coverage bra. When she's wearing dresses, low cut shirts or anything with a V-taper, her bra shows a lot. I'd like it if she had something she could wear that would allow her to wear more stuff like that without the bra constantly showing. She has lots of very pretty dresses that she would want to wear, but opts not to since the bra is so visible for all of them. What style am I looking for? I saw the "Simple Strapless" on Natori and picked one of those, but is there anything else I should be looking for? Something with lots of support but less coverage, so she can still wear a bra, but like... where it doesn't show when she wants to wear something that shows more of her chest. My second question about underwear (sorry, I know this is a bra subreddit, I hope this is alright); My wife is in a bit of a bind when it comes to buying stuff for her lower body. She has a 26" waist but 43" hips. I did some research online and it looks like most brands account for up to an 8"-10" "swing". But I'd really like to be able to get her some nice cloths that fit her. She has to resort to wearing what amounts to cargo pants, loose "yoga style" pants, or things like workout leggings. The problem with the stretchy kinds of materials, her area around her butt is entirely see-thru, so she gets pretty embarrassed, especially at places like the gym when she needs to do squats or anything, since for it to be tight around her hips, she needs to get a smaller size than her waist allows. Are there any brands or anything that are designed for this? I know I could just keep getting stuff that sits at the waist instead of the hip, but when we go out she's constantly pointing to things and saying "I wish I could wear that" but then when we try it on, it either fits her waist but then is completely loose around her hips, so much so that you can fit both hands comfortably in the waist, or it doesn't fit over her butt. She's basically stuck with super loose fitting cloths, or having a see through backside. Anyway, thanks in advance. I'm pretty stumped on this stuff.

I've held on to my current 3 bras for dear life, but the one is becoming uncomfortable, so here we are... Loose underbust: 30 Snug underbust: 29 Tight underbust: 27.5 Standing bust: 34 Leaning bust: 35.5 Lying bust: 33 AFAB Calculator recommends 30DD/DDD US size. My bras are 32DD and 32D and fit well My biggest pain point when searching is that my breasts are very east-west, fuller on the bottom, kinda teardrop-y, and most cups gap in the top and/or middle or cause spillage on the sides. My favorite bra is the discontinued Natori Cherry Blossom Convertible Spacer Push-Up bra (not the style that's still around) I prefer wired and lined simply for the feeling :)

Hey all! I am looking for a good brand that will fit a 28DDD or a 30DD. I'm wide set (edit: pectus excavatum) but not the biggest fan of the shallower plunge bras (natori feathers), and I'm also full/round on the upper portion so I'm a bit lost here:/ if anyone has cute bra recs Imk, thank you!

Hello, I've been trying to find something that fits for a few years now. When I first found this subreddit, I tried out the 30C that was recommended by the calculator. I tried out some cheaper Auden bras in this size, but the underwire and band were tight to the point of being downright painful and the cups felt like there was a good bit of empty space in them. I then went to a bra store that specializes in fittings, and they said to go with a 32C, but none of the ones they had in stock were comfortable either. Underwire usually just hurts in general, and I don't like push-up bras or even moderate levels of padding, and I don't like them completely unpadded either. They also recommended finding one that isn't full coverage, like a demi cup, wirefree bra. Trouble is... I'm not sure those exist anywhere. Really, finding anything that I'm remotely okay with is a bit of a struggle. Currently, I'm wearing a Victoria's secret 34B, and I had to attach an extender to the band until it stretched out some because it was too tight at first. I don't exactly fill the cups completely either. The closest I've gotten to finding one that fits and is comfy is Pepper's bras at a 36AA (I think I also had a few 34As at some point, but the cups were a little small). Unfortunately, pepper bras do not last long at all, and within a few months they need to be retired or thrown out because they stretch out to the point I can't adjust them to fit anymore and the copper hardware starts oxidizing and turning green. I'm just confused and I have no idea what size to order since nothing ever seems to work?? I'm about ready to make my own bras soon. Any suggestions before I learn how to sew? I measured again, here's the results: Loose UB: 29.5 Snug UB: 29 Tight UB: 28 Standing: 32.5 90 Degrees: 33.5 Laying flat: 31.5 I got different numbers this time, possibly because the first time I used an older tape measure that has potentially stretched out over time Update: I got two Skarlett Blue bras in 30D and a Natori one in 32D. All three have the same issue- band feels too tight (even if it's on upside down). And all three have an issue with the wire pressing into my sternum to point it hurt, even without the straps and 2 are unlined. The straps all seem to be set too wide too, I can easily slip shoulder out of them. I'm not sure where to go from here. I've had similar issues with 32Cs. 34 B even required an extender for a bit. The 32D's cups seem to be a bit big, but the 30Ds are okay. Here are the ones I tried: -Skarlett Blue's Dare Dot Demi T-Shirt bra in 30D -Skarlett Blue's Adorned Demi Cotton Unlined Underwire in 30D -Natori's Peony Unlined Underwire in 32D.

Hi everyone. I've learned a lot from perusing other posts but I'd love some specific feedback to help me find the right bra(s). The calculator recommended a 28E/30D based on the following measurements: Loose underbust: 29 Snug underbust: 28 Tight underbust: 27.5 Standing bust: 33 Leaning bust: 34 Lying bust: 33.75 Other details to note: I have east/west breasts that are teardrop shaped: the tissue slopes down at the top with most volume concentrated at the base. I just purchased a Natori Feathers Plunge Bra in 30D, and at first I thought the fit was great. Then I noticed that while the band size is comfortable, the cup size is quite small: my nipples rest right on the edge of the cup- sometimes they even pop out- and a good amount of volume is displaced towards the center of my chest (it makes for nice cleavage, but I'm worried my boobs are going to fall out). I ordered the same model in a 30DD, but now I am curious if, given my measurements, anyone might recommend different bras and/or different sizes? Do Natori bras tend to run smaller in the cup, or is my cup size slightly larger than the calculator accounted for? Should I be ordering 28F/30DD(3E) instead of 28E/30D? I tend to like demi cups and balconette bras, lined or unlined, but I'm open to other styles too. Mainly I just want something comfortable and cute that I can wear daily. I do have sensitive skin so I have a preference for soft materials. I would also love any sports bra recommendations as my previous ones were kind of like boob hats, and I feel a little lost with sports bra sizing. Thanks in advance! Edit to add: Apparently I have a moderate degree of projection.

I'm looking for wired recommendations for a 34D! The absolute only bra with an underwire that I've found that fits my breast shape is the Natori Feathers Contour. I love this bra and I own multiple because they work so perfectly. However, this bra doesn't work with the neckline of some of my tops and dresses with a more square neck. I have gone through the shallow breast page and ordered multiple of the recommendations (that I could find, I'm thinking these might be old recommendations?) and none of them fit right. I've also tried a few other bras from Natori, but the cup wasn't right. Can anyone recommend anything??

My [abrathatfits.org](http://abrathatfits.org/) measurements comeback every time as 34D/DD with a companion size of 36C. I have a little more than a handful, not much, but loads more since I've gained 40 lbs. However, confusingly though not surprisingly each retailer's size chart gives me a different recommendation. If I'm buying from a retailer is it advised to use my correct sizing or their sizing? *Surely their products reflect their own size charts*, or am I missing something ? par example: **A Bra That Fits**: 34D/DD \-------------------- **Wacoal**: 36B **Eby**: Nonexistent, with their measurements the band size and bust size difference is zero. So maybe 38AA **Skims**: 38A **Harper Wilde**: 38A **Understance**: 36C **Intimissimi**: 38B **Thirdlove**: 36A **Essenther**: 38A **Aerie**: 38B (they actually don't even have my size based on their chart, this was the closest) **Victoria Secret**: 34D (hallelujah!) **Comfancy**: 38A **Natori**: 36B **Pepper**: 38B **Soma**: 38A **Boody**: 34D (yay!) As you can see only two brands measure me correctly. I am looking for a lined or lightly padded push up scoop bra. Thanks! I recall being measured by someone at Nordstrom when I was 18 - despite being flat as a board I was measured as a 28 C but wore a 30B or 32A. TYSM!

I am once again coming to the sub for help with a bra that actually fits. Here's my measurements: Loose Under: 35 Snug Under: 34 Tight Under: 31  Standing Bust: 37 Leaning Bust: 39 Lying Bust: 35 ABTF: 34D/DD (sister size 36C/D) I have measured myself six ways to Sunday and gotten the same measurements every time. Thus far I have tried the Panache Envy Balconnet (band was fine, but the cups were too big at the top), the Freya Offbeat (fit well, but the gore dug in super painfully), the Natori Feathers (cups were too big on top), and a random purchase of the Target brand Auden T-shirt bra in 34C that somehow has actually fit the best. I have no clue where to go from here and I'm feeling *super* frustrated in only having one underwire bra that isn't wholly deflated on top. From what I've read, and my "room on top" cups, I believe my breasts are shallow with wide roots. If anyone has any suggestions on where to go from here, I'm all ears!

I have pretty significant pectus excavatum, dense breast tissue, and I’m in the US. Having a chest deformity makes all of this guesswork extra difficult. TLDR; I need a cup that is wider so it doesn’t cut into breast tissue under my armpit, and a little help finding something that won’t gape over my right breast and actually shield my nipples. I also don’t want to feel like the bra is up to my collar bone. And I’m boycotting VS. The calculator suggested UK sizes: 30 E/F or 32 DD/E based on these measurements: Loose under: 31 Snug: 30 Tight: 29 Standing bust: 36.5 Leaning: 37 Lying: 36.2 A year or two ago I bought some Victoria’s Secret Demi style bras in 34 C. I probably should have gotten 32 D at the time as I have found myself using the tightest hook and the straps don’t want to stay up. I’ve gained a little weight since then and now I have this issue where I don’t have quad boob, but it feels like more of my breast is above the cup than within it. My nipples are barely contained and the underwire is pressing into my ribs underneath my breasts. I recently bought two 34DD bras made by Natori that seemed to fit great at the time. The 32DDD probably fit better but made me feel like I couldn’t breathe! I also tried on Wacoal and they were all too big or too small. Now I feel like the Natori I purchased are too big so I tried putting a little pad/cutlet in the smaller cup, but it didn’t work for me. 😣 I wouldn’t say my breasts are shallow (or are they?), but they are wide/round and I think I have “short roots” since they have more mass width-wise than top and bottom. I cannot wear full coverage style bras. Looking at the shape guide, my beasts are even at 2/5, with a very slight tendency to be full on the bottom and there is very little difference to their shape when supported or in a bra (unless it’s a push up, of course). The pectus excavatum makes my right breast a little smaller, but only towards the center of my chest making it project like it’s cross eyed, and I can barely fit a finger between my breasts. I’m also only five feet tall and I often feel like bras are just made for longer bodies. I’ve ordered a few bras online to try different brands including Fleur du Mal and Third Love, and I’m looking at Chantelle, Freya, and some others suggested by this subreddit. Please let me know if you have suggestions! Thanks so much ☺️

Hi all! I posted here years ago and Natori Feathers 30DD was my best fit. I previously would have cups that were gaping or straps that would fall even on the tightest adjustment. Didn't have those issues with feathers, but I felt the band was a bit tight but I thought it would loosen up after a bit. However, it still digs in and can hurt after a bit. Does anyone have any suggestions on alternatives or whether I should try to go up to a 32D? I'm also eyeing the Natori bliss perfection contour soft cup or Evelyn Bobbie for wireless.. My measurements: \* Loose Underbust: 29.25" \* Snug Underbust: 28.5" \* Tight Underbust: 27.5" \* Standing Bust: 33.75" \* Leaning Bust: 35" \* Lying Bust: 33"

Hi ladies, I'm checking the fits Everybody strapless bras. Never had skims bras before. The official guide seems wrong, I check other posts here on the bra sizing and got contradictory advices. I'm a true 32DDD(32F) for many brands, including Victoria's Secret, Natori, and Fenty. My body measurement is 27 underbust & 34 bust. Occasionally, I can fit in some 30G or 32DD, but for strapless ones, 32DD always squeezes my babies into 4 pieces. I wonder if I can go with my normal size (32F) for Fits Everybody Strapless Bras. (Some posts said they are true to size, some said DDD is too huge in cups, others said one should size up for the band. I'm so lost...

I'm back with round 2 of testing based on the great recommendations I got in my [last post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/1sxz1g9/fit_check_32h_us32ff_uk_skarlett_blue_chantelle/)! I think maybe I've made some progress but am not quite there yet? Here's what I was able to try this round: Chantelle Norah Chic Plunge in [32F](https://postimg.cc/gallery/JXNM9zx) and [32FF](https://postimg.cc/gallery/tpHdnMy) \- Band on these felt great. Cups on the 32FF seemed too big? The 32F seemed like the right volume but maybe not the right shape - the cup bunches at the bottom a bit and it felt like things were somewhat smashed out to the side rather than lifted. I did LOVE the low gore, which I think I absolutely need. But maybe this is just a touch too shallow? Fantasie Fusion Plunge in [32F](https://postimg.cc/gallery/7qxzLpk) and [32FF](https://postimg.cc/gallery/mWvq24V) \- Band on both of these also felt great, if a little firmer than on the Chantelle bras. The 32FF once again seemed too big in the cup. But the 32F seemed \*almost\* perfect! I absolutely loved the shape and support it was giving. Zero bunching or gapping at the bottom of the cup and I felt super lifted and centered. It looked amazing under my shirt too. I loved it so much I left the tags on and wore it around the house for a few hours to give it a test drive. Sadly, it seems to have one fatal flaw - the gore is too high and digs in. When I tried it on, I could see that it was maybe sitting on tissue, but given how much I loved it otherwise, I was hoping it wouldn't bother me. But it does. 😞 I guess I've made some progress? I have a Bravissimo order that I'm waiting on that includes the Niya smoothing bra (the seamed version was out of stock in anything close to my size) and some wireless options. I also ordered the Natori Flora that one of the kind experts recommended. Anything else I should consider? I'm so bummed the Fantasie gore is too high - I felt like it was so close otherwise. Measurements once again for convenience: LU: 33 SU: 32 TU: 31 SB 39 LB: 40.5 LyB: 38.25 And my apologies for the poor overhead shots - I had to hold my phone up to get them, so I'm not sure it gives the best view of the cups. 😬

Hi everyone—looking for a reality check because I’m honestly a bit thrown off after a fitting experience. Over the past few weeks I’ve been learning bra fitting (ABTF guides, Bratabase, shape concepts, etc.), and I felt like I finally understood: \- projection \- root width \- full-on-bottom vs full-on-top \- why certain bras don’t work So I went into Dillard’s feeling prepared and confident. My measurements (ABTF calculator): \- Loose underbust: 35.5 \- Snug: 34.5 \- Tight: 34 \- Standing bust: 40 \- Leaning bust: 45 \- Lying bust: 40 Calculator suggests: 36DDD (US) Bratabase range: 34G/GG, 36G/GG (UK) What happened in-store: I specifically told the fitter: “I need bras that lift me, not compress me. I also need immediate projection, and I’m close-set.” Despite that, the fitter only brought me molded/T-shirt bras, including: \- Wacoal \- Natori \- Chantelle \- Le Mystère (Second Skin Back Smoother) In every bra I tried, I had consistent issues: \- Top edge cutting in slightly \- Very little lift (profile felt low/rounded instead of lifted/forward) \- Felt like tissue was being pushed downward rather than supported When I pointed out the cutting at the top edge, I was told: "That’s fine, it fits you correctly." At that point I felt like everything I had learned—and even what I clearly asked for—was being dismissed, and I started second-guessing myself. I nearly purchased the La Mystere bra because of her instance and she told me to put my shirt on and when I did that it did look good and more lifted. But in the back of my head I'm thinking of everything I've been reading about regarding proper fitment. Why I’m confused- Based on what I’ve learned: \- The 5" difference between standing and leaning bust suggests projection \- Molded cups tend to be shallow \- Top edge cutting + lack of lift usually indicates shape mismatch and/or insufficient projection But the fitter was very confident that everything fit correctly, which is what’s throwing me off. My current understanding of my shape: \- Full on bottom \- Close-set \- Softer tissue \- Likely projected My questions: 1. Does this situation sound like a classic molded cup / shallow bra mismatch? 2. Are the fit issues I’m describing (top cutting + lack of lift) actually considered acceptable in retail fittings, or are they legitimate problems? 3. Would someone with my measurements typically do better in seamed, unlined bras with more projection? I think what I’m really trying to figure out is: Did I misunderstand what I’ve learned…or Did I walk into a fitting that wasn’t aligned with my shape needs? Appreciate any insight—especially from those familiar with projected/FOB fits. And once again I'm enraged about the American bra fitting industry and how I feel like I've been lied to my entire life.

Hi all! I have made a couple previous posts, including [this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/1swcbwf/fit_check_measurement_check_natori_feathers_32c/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) with measurements. Calculator suggests 30DD/32D/32DD depending on some factors. I tried bras on in store today, and had a brief glorious moment where I thought the Wacoal Halo Lace bra kinda fit, but upon further inspection (and loosening the straps slightly) it's actually super wrong. But I'm wondering if anyone can help my learn from what's wrong with it? It seems to me like the depth of the cup is right (at least, for my bigger boob), but the shape is all wrong -- other than the wires being too wide, can you help me figure out the nature of the problem? Pics [here](https://postimg.cc/gallery/cLSzM26) (NSFW), including one pic of a different Wacoal 32D that fit even worse. (I forgot to write down the second bra's name, sorry.) Thank you!

Hi all, I’ve just started figuring out the different bra shapes and am now looking for a strapless bra for size 30G and would appreciate any recommendations! I believe I’m more on a projected side. I’ve been using a skims bandeau as my strapless wireless bra option but I’ve been wanting something that’s a little more supportive/shaping/plunging. So I’m open to suggestions on supportive strapless bras, and more plunging options that are still good for my size. My go-to bras are [Corin Virginia spacer bra](https://bralissimo.com/products/corin-17871-navy) (that my bra fitter suggested), Skarlett Blue Minx in 30G/32DDD, Aubade plunging triangle bras (don’t remember the names now) in sizes 65 F-G. I also love balconette shapes. I’ve also tried Natori Cloud Comfort in size 30G, and it just wasn’t the right fit. The gore doesn’t lie fully flat, and although the band fits pretty tight, the bra keeps sliding to the side. I also find it a little difficult to fill the molded cups. I saw that Natori has some strapless options like Pure Luxe or Minimal Plunge that look pretty good but I’m just not entirely sure on how they would fit, knowing that their other bra didn’t fit the best. My ABTF size is 30DDD/G US and 30E/F UK but I would say 30G US is what usually fits me best. My measurements: loose underbust 30.5 tight underbust 29.9 tightest underbust 28.5 bust standing 34.8 bust leaning 38 lying down 36 Would really appreciate any recommendations and thank you!

Hi all! I [posted a few days ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/1swcbwf/fit_check_measurement_check_natori_feathers_32c/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) asking for fit feedback and learned some useful info -- including that I just need to suck it up and try on some more bras in more sizes! But I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed and would love some help getting started. I'm looking to try on some 30Ds, 32Cs, and 32Ds. I am brand new to this whole thing, but I think maybe I am projected. I'm definitely full-on-bottom and my breasts are east-west and/or side-set. I think my roots are sort of average height near the center of my chest, but short on the outsides, or something. I did a couple drawings in an attempt to explain my shape; here's a [gallery](https://postimg.cc/gallery/DXwBtYZ). Two questions for you all: 1. What bras would you recommend that I try? I'd especially love recs for seamed/unmolded bras, but am open to anything! 2. Is there anywhere I could go to try on potentially-good bras in-store? I'm in the midwest USA. I always feel really overwhelmed by online shopping, so if I could just spend an hour at a Macy's, for example, I'd way rather do that. My measurements (including discussion of my confusion about measurements) are in my [previous post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/1swcbwf/fit_check_measurement_check_natori_feathers_32c/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)! Hi all—looking for help refining my fit. I feel like I’m close but not quite there, and I think this may be more of a shape mismatch than just size. Measurements (A Bra That Fits calculator): Loose Underbust: 35.5" Snug Underbust: 34.5" Tight Underbust: 34" Standing Bust: 40" Leaning Bust: 45" Lying Bust: 40" Calculator result: 36DDD (US) Shape observations (my best guess): Fuller on bottom Minimal upper fullness Likely need immediate projection at the wire Sensitive to tall/open cups (they gap or feel too high) Molded bras tend to feel shallow/compressive There’s a 5" difference between standing and leaning, which makes me think I have more projection than most bras I’m trying can handle. Bras I’ve tried + fit issues: Natori Pretty Smooth Full Fit – 36DDD About 5–10% spillage, but honestly the most flattering so far Good overall shape and comfort Willing to overlook slight spillage because it looks the best Wacoal Back Appeal – 36DDD Slight cutting in at the top Gore doesn’t fully tack (slightly lifted) Decent but not quite right Wacoal Perfect Primer – 36DDD Cuts in along the top of the cup Feels compressed overall, like it’s flattening instead of lifting Not giving the shape I want Felina Marvelous Side Smoothing T-Shirt Bra – 36DDD Very tight band—I could barely fasten it Once on, it was extremely uncomfortable Cups felt like they came up too high (almost toward my neck) Also felt compressive instead of supportive Gore did not lay flat Freya / Panache / Elomi (various sizes tried previously) Issues with top gaping in larger cups Compression or lack of lift in smaller cups Overall poor shape and support for me Consistent issues I’m seeing: Gore often doesn’t fully tack Cups either: Compress me (too shallow), OR Gap at the top (too tall/open) Lack of lift / shaping Tissue seems pushed downward or outward instead of lifted What I think I need (but want confirmation): More immediate projection at the wire Shorter cup height / more closed tops Less wide cups More structured shaping (not super shallow molded cups) What I’m looking for: Specific bra recommendations that match my shape Whether 36DDD is actually correct or if I should be trying a different size range Styles/brands that work better for projected, fuller-on-bottom shapes with less upper fullness Thanks in advance—I feel like I’m so close but missing a key piece.

I haven’t really had any issues with finding a bra that fits until after my child was born 2 1/2 years ago. I’ve been very uncomfortable with any bra besides a very basic smoothing bra but those have no support and I want some support and lift since my breasts have more volume at the bottom. My underbust size is about 31” and bust is around 36”. I have been wearing 34C and 32D seems to fit in some brands. But even if they otherwise fit, the cup pinches the skin near my underarm when I move my arms. I guess the cups are too wide but they otherwise fit my breasts so I can’t figure out what will work for me. I have tried so many brands and styles such as Victoria’s Secret, Aerie, Natori, Thirdlove, Honeylove, Soma, and probably others I can’t think of. Any brands or styles that work best for someone with this issue? Edit - My measurements are: Bust: 36” Leaning bust: 38” Lying bust: 36” Under bust: 30.5” Loose under bust: 31” Tight under bust: 30”

Measurements from calculator (in inches): LU: 33 SU: 32 TU: 31 SB 39 LB: 40.5 LyB: 38.25 Not entirely sure of shape? I suspect at least somewhat shallow with wide-ish roots and FOB. I thought I was wider set, but perhaps not - when I lean over, I fit one finger between my breasts. Definitely have softer tissue. Many moons ago, I wore Natori Feathers fairly comfortably, but that was prior to kids, so I'm sure things have changed. In recent years, I'd pretty much given up on underwire and was wearing Underoutfit Comfort Shaping bras in size M+ (or whatever the DD+ size was that they used to offer). These obviously didn't fit great, but they were at least not painful. They've completely worn out in the elastic now, though, so it's time for new bras and I thought I'd better re-evaluate my fit and needs. Initial research on the sub led me to try some of the shallower brands first. I did try a Natori Feathers, but it was not particularly comfortable. I didn't get pictures of that one, but if I recall correctly, my main issue with that one (and most of the others I've tried) was that the cup was so tall in my armpit. I have pretty broad shoulders, so I'm not sure why this is happening - maybe I'm just extra sensitive to feeling like my shoulders are restricted? I did get pictures (or at least tried - not sure I have much of a future in bra photography!) of the next 3 I tried and am curious if any experts here can offer some guidance on where to go next. It may be that I still just don't tolerate underwire and/or scratchy fabric, but I'd like to pretty thoroughly rule out fit issues before coming to that conclusion. [Chantelle Norah Comfort 32H](https://postimg.cc/gallery/TYzKKWR) I thought this might be the one and actually took the tags off and wore it a few times. I love the fabric. After a few hours, though, it really starts to feel tight and dig in in the front. It also feels like a lot of bra in my armpit, if that makes sense? It's not as bad as some others, probably due to the soft fabric, but it's still noticeable. [Skarlett Blue Minx 32H](https://postimg.cc/gallery/6CLdcsr) I think the gore might be too high on this one? At least I feel like it digs in a bit. The lace is also kind of scratchy, especially since I also feel like it's in my armpit. [Skarlett Blue Spellbound Side Support 32H](https://postimg.cc/gallery/DmP8Gnh) This seems like it's giving a weird shape, possibly because I'm not full enough on top? Not sure. The mesh was nice, though, and it felt least like it was all in my armpit. I have tons more bras on the way, including options from Fantasie (the Illusion & Reflect), Panache (the Envy, Ana, & Tango), Freya (the Offbeat Side Support), and Elomi (the Mathilda & Morgan, though I had to sister size up to 34F for those since they do not make a 32FF). I'm trying to try on and return as they arrive so as not to get too overwhelmed (which I already kind of am!). But I would love any thoughts/advice on where to focus and what my shape needs might be! (Oh, and yes, I am scooping & swooping!)

I've been wearing a 38FF (UK) but using the calculator indicates I might need to try a 38G (UK). I believe I am: * Wide roots * Projected * Even vertical fullness (2/5 on the fullness graphic in the wiki, if that helps - long, flat top, rounder bottom) * Very soft tissue I do have very \*long*\, gravity-impacted breasts with nipples that point downward. I have been wearing the Panache Jasmine Balconette for years and it's the first bra I've been happy enough with to buy multiple and wear consistently. But one of my biggest frustrations is nipple showthrough - I layer a tank or cami under pretty much everything I wear. I understand that, due to my projection, moulded bras aren't recommended, but I really prefer that style. 😅 I do have armpit fat, including a lipoma on one side (which I'm working on removing!), and experience discomfort with underwires - I'm 5' and roughly 195. My biggest fit preference is for my breasts to be lifted and \*centered*\. It seems like most bras for my size and shape separate, very east-west, and I do not like that. 😅 Also, I find that straps do slide off easily, so I suspect I have narrow shoulders. I have tried: * Comexim (can't remember the style, but this is the only other one I've kept. It feels snug at times) * Freya Deco Plunge T-Shirt Bra * Freya Fancies Longline Bra * Freya Starlight Idol T-Shirt Bra * Glamorize Lace Comfort WonderWire * Natori Feathers Full Coverage * Pour Moi Sofia Embroidered Side Support I've also tried Wacoal and Elomi, but I don't remember which ones, and it was apparently before I established a Bare Necessities account. Thank you!

I'm a 32b (the calculator has also given me 30c), shallow projection, short and wide roots. The Natori feathers bra, and the pepper bras fit me amazingly. I really love balconette style bras, but they seem to only be made for bigger breasts. Does anyone have any other recommendations, or even some shallow bra patterns so I can make them myself? I am tired of wearing bralettes..

I’m just wondering because i’m between a US 30G, 32G, & 30H. I get a little bit of spillage in a 30G, not anything insane but definitely popping out a bit. In a 32G the cups are good but the band is too loose but fits okay on the tightest hook. I haven’t been able to try on a 30H bra as I have none available by me. I have a mix between shallow and projected breasts, wide roots, & am pretty even on fullness. The bras I’ve tried are Natori & Chantelle. I’ve tried Freya Amazon bras in 30G & i didn’t spill out but they just fit weird? i guess? so they are returned. Could it be i’m a different size in different styles? If anybody has any suggestions on bras they think would work for me I will gladly listen & give it a shot, thank you! Hi all! This is kind of a chaotic post because I wrote the whole thing up, decided to re-measure before posting juuuust in case, and then got different measurements/calculator results than I had previously gotten?? So this has kind of become a combo of fit check/shape help/measurement check post, hopefully that’s ok!! Ok, here’s the post: **FIT CHECK** I measured a couple weeks ago, and (I SWEAR) the calculator said I should be wearing a 30d or 32c. Yesterday I had a brief chance to try a couple bras on in a store. The one I liked best was the fabled Natori Feathers in 32C. I feel like the cups fit better than I knew a cup could fit, but the band felt and \*looked\* tight — the flesh on my back/sides really spilled over the top of the band, and I’m not sure if that’s supposed to happen or not. (I think I’m sensitive to tight bands from a sensory perspective, and also maybe just self-conscious about it.) * [Here are the pics!](https://postimg.cc/gallery/mk04FdY) Sorry they’re not great and that I don’t have a more useful pic of the back of the bra. Like I said earlier, I feel like these cups fit better than I ever expect cups to fit, but I do notice that there’s some cup-wrinkling in the pics. **SHAPE** I am still figuring out shape, but I think I have short roots and am a bit fuller on bottom — but, like, moreso on the outside of my breasts? I find this hard to explain so I have some drawings, I hope this is allowed. Second pic in this gallery explains what I think is happening with root shape haha. I also think I am more projected than shallow. * [Shape drawings](https://postimg.cc/gallery/DXwBtYZ) **MEASUREMENTS** I really struggled to figure out the right measurement for loose & snug underbust, which I think is, again, related to not knowing how tight things should be around my upper back/sides. But as I think through this, I wonder if part of my whole problem is that my back is maybe a bit more muscular than average bc I do a lot of rock climbing??? And maybe part of the measurement discrepancy depends on if my muscles are engaged or not??? So anyway, I’m gonna include the whole range of measurements I got for the underbust measurements. * Loose underbust: 31.5 or 31.75 or 32 * Snug underbust: 30.5 or 31 or 31.5 lolol * Supertight underbust: 28 * Standing: 35.5 * Leaning: 36 * Lying down: 33.5 Depending on which of those measurements I put in, I get between 30DD/E and 32D/DD, which is different than the sizes I was getting before lol. But if I try the “I’m AMAB” setting (cuz of the back muscle thing) it suggests 32C, which kind of brings me back to where I started. But I guess I should try some D cups too?? **IN CONCLUSION** OKAY SO. That’s a lot of information, and hopefully not too much to put all in one post. I guess my big questions are: 1) like I asked earlier, how is a bra band even supposed to fit?, and 2) where the hecky do I go from here? THANK YOU!!!!

I stumbled upon these fitting charts for about 20 brands on the Billy’s Bras website and thought they might help someone else. The chart for each brand list the top styles and indicates whether they are projected vs. narrow and wide vs. shallow, along with fitting notes about what shape the style is best for, such as FOT or FOB. The brands are a good mix of DD+ brands like Panache and Freya, and department store brands like Natori and Wacoal. As someone new to the DD+ game (32C -> 28E/F), I find it to be a super handy reference!

I absolutely love the style of Chantelle's pulp line (more mesh less lace)but I have a hard time finding bras in my size (34G/GG UK) depending on the brand. This is my calculator size and I have found bras that fit but are not my style. I need cups on the shorter side with a low narrow gore. I usually buy from Nordstrom but for some reason they don't carry the larger sizes of most of these bras so probably going to have to order directly from the manufacturer. I have been told some US brands like Natori have the cups get taller faster with increased cup size as opposed to UK brands. Brratabase doesn't have anything from the Pulp line. Edit: Not looking for recommendations, just looking for reviews of this specific line. They do have up to an H or I in some of these bras.

Some of you may already know this hack, but I just recently discovered it and wanted to share. A lot of times when I'm shopping for a bra online, it is hard to tell what sort of fabric the bra is made of. And sometimes I think the bra has cups but actually it's just fabric lining - like this one [Natori Pretty Smooth bra ](https://www.amazon.com/Natori-Womens-Pretty-Seamless-Underwire/dp/B0DJ3L59CX/ref=sr_1_28?crid=3B1HIMB8C1QEF&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.RYBOBoKhhHwAmGVzMfbNhLX94JYroLwjrLiXUHiR8WqYX4Brocd81nG-Sasz4-QBqTnHwPcK1qgHfC94hJxSSUvqrsZvCpVg7MrqLftUa_H5tXfoRyCAJcJoQjGBRF_ElY91qr4Xr_13EugI46q4CL_Lni96SLhih5FiVNvHGPNrXhpCudV2Td2n3S-nvqZWDv3oL94sjYplP0LHihs0EzU3KrU0bMHrGie5B1UMhsCgV5kxXnBBl3pU91gIM0zU2QsqPlf-pVMiXl2BXGJKbK6RcxsTG_xzlwz4wWMx7O4.RIKi60S7li6wSVZTLQtzhpWCCjpP-VSPW71QLdLuoBw&dib_tag=se&keywords=natori%2Bcomfort%2Bunderwire&qid=1777037892&sprefix=natori%2Bcomfort%2Bunderwire%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-28&th=1&psc=1) \- it looks like the bottom is a foam cup, but it's actually just fabric. And I HATE that the way they photograph bras makes it look like the bra isn't see through when it actually is. I was looking at this bra [Fantasie Portia Balconette](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/portia-underwire-balconette-bra/8089925?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&breadcrumb=Home%2FAll%20Results&color=620) Now when you look at the bra on the model it looks like it's not sheer, but actually it's completely see through! This is a big deal to me because I can't wear something like this under a lot of my blouses. I discovered that when you shop for a bra on Nordstrom and click on a specific bra, a lot of times they have a video with one of their employees talking about the bra. The employee will describe the bra, she'll touch and stretch it so you can see how stretchy it is. And you can SEE if it's sheer or not, if the cups are made of foam or are just fabric, etc. They'll also show the inside of the cup and you could see it had an inner sling - something I am always on the search for. I wish more websites would show the inside of the bra cups, and not just a picture of the front of the bra. So what I've been doing is look up the bra on the Nordstrom website and watch their video of the bra. I may go ahead and buy it on their site, but sometimes if I can find it cheaper on Amazon or somewhere else I will. This is something just I figured out and wanted to share, hope it helps someone else.

Thanks to this sub I've realized I've been wearing too-small bras my whole life. Calculator suggested 36D (measurements below), but I've yet to find a bra that both fits my shape well and doesn't drive me crazy itching. My most common fit issue is having the gore dig into my sternum. So far even bras made for 'comfort' - Chantelle Norah, I'm looking at you - have made me so uncomfortably itchy after 5 minutes of wearing them that I have to take them off and still feel itchy for 30 minutes after removing the bra. I honestly wasn't aware of how sensitive my skin is until going on this bra journey (I've been wearing awful-fitting bralettes for the past 10 years.) I've exhausted all options at my one local bra shop, so I'm switching to online shopping (US- based). I'm here for all suggestions you may have! Measurements/shape info: loose: 94 cm snug: 91 cm tight: 85 cm standing: 101 cm leaning: 104 cm lying: 102 cm Even fullness, possibly a little shallow, definitely wide roots Local store carried Natori, Scarlett Blue, and Chantelle - all of which were too itchy for me (multiple styles tried on).

Hi everyone, I have sensory issues and my favorite bra of all time is discontinued and unobtainable. I have linked to the Amazon listing because the manufacturer (True & Co) actually has less information and imaging on their site. I'm trying to find something extremely close to this. I have tried finding a replacement at Soma and VS, as well as looked online at Bravissimo and Cosabella. Why this is my favorite and the features I want to find: * Wireless (minimal support needed, see shape/size below) * Pullover (no bra band clasp) * Not a triangle shape, scoop shape preferred * Band that is thicker under arms to smooth underarm rolls * J Hook on straps to convert to cross/racerback Required post details: I have identified my size as 30D or 32C with wide set, east west, full on bottom projected shape (even 2/5). My wired fits have been panache clara for unlined and natori bliss perfection contour for lined. Thanks for any suggestions in advance!

Armed with info from the ABTF fitting guide and tips from another poster, I've been trying on as many unlined, seamed balconette bras as I can find in my size range (Loose Underbust: 29" Snug Underbust: 28.25" Tight Underbust: 27.5" Standing Bust: 32.5 Leaning Bust: 35" Lying Bust: 33"). I've ordered and returned maybe a dozen bras, but the Heavenly arrived last week, and it fits me perfectly in a 32C. The gore lays flat against my chest, the cups don't wrinkle or gape, and the band fits comfortably on the loosest hooks. The problem? I don't like the bra at all. The lace is super delicate, which makes me hesitant to wear it. It's also a single layer with no mesh backing or anything, so while it fits my shape, it really does nothing for it. I'm all for a natural shape, but I'd love a tiny bit more lift and containment. It also doesn't come in a good nude for my skin - the Glow is too dark, and the Whisper Pink is too... well, pink. Any recommendations for a similar bra that is available in my size range? Bras that came close but weren't it were the Skarlett Blue Minx and Entice (tried 4-5 sizes of each, and cups all wrinkled noticeably on my smaller breast) and the Cosabella Never Say Never Sweetie balconette (the band on the 32B was a bit big, waiting on a 30C to arrive). The straps on the Cosabella also were a bit wide set for me and cut into my pectoral muscle (I lift weights) when I raise my arms, but I'd probably be willing to live with that if they didn't also slip off my shoulders constantly. Thanks!

I need some help finding 28E bras that are sufficiently wide with immediate projection. I’m full on bottom with a lot of center fullness. When I was younger, my boobs looked fake. They’ve settled a bit with age and are now teardrop shaped, but still self-supporting. When sufficiently hiked up, they’re round again. Measurements: 27.5 26.75 25.5 32.5 33.75 33 The calculator puts me at 28E. For years, my favorite bra has been the Natori Bliss, first in 32C and then 30D. Here’s a link to pics of the 30D: [https://ibb.co/album/wZWHWB](https://ibb.co/album/wZWHWB). It is a bit too small now and probably too shallow. The gore never tacked, even when I was thinner. My size fluctuates with my cycle, so I started with the Freya Rose Blossom 28DD. [https://ibb.co/album/zHJxch](https://ibb.co/album/zHJxch) The band felt like a 30 and was not snug enough. The cups were too narrow and gave me quadboob on my larger side. I have east/west boobs that are wider than my ribcage, with breast tissue going back into my armpits. As a result, I think I’m wide rooted. I also seem to be center-full. I see Panache recommended a lot for wide + projected, but I can’t find the Ava or Envy plunge in my size here in the U.S. The smallest I can find in those styles is a 28F. I’ve read that Ava can run small, so maybe 28F would fit? What else should I try? Thanks all!

I love the Curvy couture mesh bra, but wish the underwire wasn’t so stiff. I like the underwires in my Natori bras, they are more flexible. Is there a mesh bra with a flexible underwire suitable for a 38F?

Hi, so first off here are my Measurements Loose 30 Snug 29 Tight 28 Standing 35 Leaning 38 Laying 36   I’m in the US and for a while I was wearing US size 30G, but in the past few months that size has gotten too small for me. So for the past few weeks I’ve been trying to find a bra that fits and here are some that I’ve tried: Freya wired sports bra UK 30F – this was too small Freya Hallie – UK 30F  - fit me pretty well, but this one was way too projected for me, I felt like my boobs were sitting on a plate Freya Offbeat T-Shirt UK 30F – cups were too big, there was a lot of gapping at the top of the cups I don’t understand how 3 bras from the same brand all fit me differently?   Bravissimo Etta Bra – UK 30F – fit was okay, but projects a bit too much for my comfort level Natori Feathers – US 30G - too small Natori Feathers - US 30H - Still too small, but there were wrinkles at the base of my breasts – I think this is the boob hat thing? Curvy Kate sports bra UK 30F – way too small, probably need 2-3 cups bigger Anita Air Control Sports bra US -30G – too small, need at least 1 cup size bigger Goassard Superboost Lace nonpadded plunge – UK 30FF – this fit me pretty well, but the bra is a little more projected than I like, my boobs are very close set and I feel like I'm spilling out of the front middle. Understance's Simone -Canada 30G – almost fits, but the straps dig into the top corner where my breast and armpit meet Parfait Wireless Sports bra – UK 30F – almost too small What bra/size should I try now? FYI - I am full on bottom with very wide roots. Gores dig into my sternum, so plunges are always recommended, but my breasts are also very close set (I can't fit a finger in-between them) and with plunges I'm always spilling out of the middle of the bra. And please do not recommend Panache bras – I do not like them at all.  Every one I’ve tried, the band is too stiff and hurts too much. Thanks in advance!

So I am a 30g (US sizing) but it seems i can fit into 32g also. the band is too loose so i have to use the tightest hooks but the cups fit nicely. i spill out of 30gs a tad but i believe its just the shallow bras im trying. Through trial and error ive found out my favorite bra brand is Natori. Anyways i am going to buy a couple bras that cannot be returned & i dont know whether to go with the 32g or the 30g per the issues i mentioned with both sizes above. I just need a few opinions on what size to get so i can order soon, thanks in advance! :) My measurements: Loose: 31 Snug: 30 Tight: 29 Standing: 38 Leaning: 39 Lying: 37

Hi all, I posted a few weeks ago, I've since gotten a fitting at Nordstrom and confirmed as a 32C. (She initially put me in a 30 but it was ridiculously, uncomfortably, tight.) I'm 5'2", 110lbs. I tried on nearly 20 bras and couldn't find anything that really fit comfortably. A few things: * Since starting perimenopause I have some sensory issues, and any scratchy lace or otherwise stiff fabric is a non starter * Due to same sensory issues, I prefer not to have an underwire, especially as it's not like I need the support * My breasts are a bit saggy after breastfeeding two kids and I'd really love a bit of push-up/lift * I get MAJOR headlights all the time and have to have full padding in my bras. Lightly lined or god forbid unlined is not an option. She put me in a bunch of Natoris, but they all had a problem of digging into my armpit-area at the top of the cup. I also just felt like there was a lot of bra-- seemed like the cups were too tall. (I did have the same digging issue with the Aerie Sunnie bra that I tried on separately, there it seems more like the straps were just too wide given that's a demi style?) I ended up getting a Tru & Co triangle bra because it was just so comfortable, but it's not doing much in terms of lifting. Any recommendations for petite-friendly wireless (or very comfy wired) bras with a bit more structure? Thank you!

Here are my measurements: Loose 30 Snug 29 Tight 28 Standing 35 Leaning 38 Laying 36 I'm in the US and am going by US sizes. I've tried on the Natori Feathers and Natori Harmony in 30G. The band feels right but it's pretty obvious I need to go up in the cup but I'm not sure how many- do I need a 30H or 30I? Should I try a different style bra? If so, what kind? And can someone help me understand something: I understand that cup size is how many inches more than your band size, so if bust is 35" and band is 30" - that's a difference of 5 inches so 5” difference means a DD cup, 6” difference = a DDD cup and so on. So my bust is 5" difference from my band, but it seems I need a bra size 30H, which would mean a 8” difference?

Hello! I have bottom-heavy breasts and almost entirely wear unlined balconette or demi style bras. However, I’m still stuck on finding a strapless that works for me. They all seem to be sculpted cups that leave me with gaping spots near the top even when fitted correctly. My current strapless is a Natori feathers in 34D. Any recommendations, or is this a lost cause? Thank you!

I've lost around 45 lbs the past year and still have about 15 more to go. Pre-weight gain I was a comfortable 36B (not professionally measured but bras in that size fit well, no poking, filled out properly, etc... in Natori bras). As I gained weight I ended up best in balconette style bras around cup C/D and around 38 band size. Now that I've lost some weight I'm a bit in the dark as my previous 36B are now gapping in the cup and the band is stretched out. My boobs are not... saggy per se but flatter than my largest weight obviously, maybe around the size of an orange? I am able to pull off bralettes so I find it hard to believe the calculator stating cup DD and the fact that bralettes often come in s/m/l size chart vs actual band/cup doesn't help trying to find my technical sizing -- I'm hoping for a sanity check. I'm currently surviving on a single bralette that... let's be honest is an xxs however the band is definitely too snug for my liking. The sizing chart for that bra indicated that xxs would (roughly) be 32 band so I would estimate going up a band size to 34 maybe? The bra is wearable but just a twinge snug for my preference. I believe I am mostly full on bottom. |Loose Underbust: |30in| |:-|:-| |Snug Underbust: |29in| |Tight Underbust: |28in| |Standing Bust: |34in| |Leaning Bust: |35in| |Lying Bust: |33in| >

I used to love this community, finding bras that fit, trying new ones, posting measurements. I slowly drifted away from it as I gained weight and was in quite a bit of denial. Tight bands grew tighter, wires dug in more, once favorite bras just quit working. I slipped into comfy bralettes and sports bras so I didnt have to think about it. I'm sure many of us have been there. And I stayed there for years and years. I tucked my old stash of bras under my bed, never getting around to selling them but not ready to donate. Recently I've lost the weight, and I was taking some rough measurements, planning to hit up a Victoria's Secret and get something that kind of fit and made me feel good. I didn't take every leaning and tight measurement, but I remember the old system pretty well. 32D-ish. I decided to dig into my old stash under my bed just to see. A 32DD Natori Feather fits shockingly well. Supportive band but nothing too tight or digging. A slight lift compared to my bralettes and cute lace. It's like meeting an old friend again. It fits so beautifully and instantly boosted my confidence. I love it. Thanks to the community for all the fun times and info over the years. I'm not sure I'll even be able to hit up VS now, I wanted a cute lacy thing, but I know nothing will fit so well.

I previously wore Natori Bliss Perfection in a 38D based on my measurements from the calculator and felt it was "just okay"--I've always had an issue with straps slipping down. Those bras are older, so stretched out, but are becoming intolerable to wear. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant, and feeling completely lost on where to start! New Measurements: Underbust: Tight (40), Snug (41), Loose (42) Bust: Standing (46.5), Bending (51), Laying down (46.5) Recommended starting size: 42F (?!?!?!?!) (Should I round down the bust measurements? 46 instead of 47?-that shows 42E) My breasts are pretty wide set, and not very dense at all so I was shocked to see that calculator size. Any suggestions/recommendations on where to start? I'm seeing Elomi offers a pretty wide size range. Any maternity specific brands?

Hello! I've been lurking in this sub for a while now reading up on fits and recommendations, but I've finally gotten to the point where I need some help with getting into something that's comfortable and actually looks good. I apologize in advance for the length of this- I genuinely don't have anyone in my life that I can go to for this sort of thing. I went to a fitter over the weekend and she got me into two 34G Bras- a Chantelle black spacer T-shirt bra, and an unlined lace Natori full coverage. I need to wear both on the middle/tightest clasp. I'm liking the support/lift I get with the Chantelle on, but I am noticing that I still feel like I need to pull my straps closer to my neck. It's not as big of an issue when standing, but as soon as I sit down in my office chair, my straps are floating over my shoulders and my cups are empty at the top. The Natori has a similar strap issue, and I'm definitely not the biggest fan of the unlined style, but the gapping isn't as bad as the Chantelle. The measurements I took on myself are: 32 loose, 31 snug, 30 tight, 38 standing, 40 leaning, 37 laying. Shape wise, I'm fairly certain that I'm fuller on bottom with wide roots. My best fitting bras always seemed to be racerback bras (specifically there was a teal lace Pink front close bra that I wish I had never gotten rid of), but I also always wore pretty well padded Pink bras so all of this is pretty new to me. I've started looking at some brands (Chantelle, Montelle, Panache, Natori specifically), but it's a bit overwhelming, and I'd hugely appreciate if anyone has recommendations for specific bra styles that I should try. I don't mind having 1-2 full coverage bras, but I do tend to wear lower cut styles and definitely am looking for styles that I can wear with the majority of my tops. Thank you so much in advance!

I posted a fit check last week after I found every bra I tried in my calc size was painful in some way. They seemed to be too projected for me, so I was recommended to try the Montelle Intimates Demi Lace Flirt bra in 28E and 28F (their sizing system is different, so those are 28DD and 28DDD US). Here are my photos in the 28E: https://postimg.cc/gallery/VXN5c1s I think it fits my larger breast nicely, the cup seems to be filled out. Wrinkling at the top of the cup on my smaller boob, but I know that's normal since they're asymmetrical. The main issue is that the gore is still digging in at the top :(. I've only been wearing it for less than an hour today and the gore is driving me crazy. This was an issue in the other 3 bras I tried in my last post too. I tried the 28F but it was wrinkling across the whole cup on both my larger and smaller boobs. Couldn't really fill that one out. I did swoop + scoop for both. Is it possible the gore is too tall? I'm honestly feeling very insecure after this process. It feels like my boobs are too small to fit anything right. I just want a bra that fits so that I can feel pretty and sexy without being in pain. I have a few bralettes or sports bras I just default to at this point, but they aren't good for wearing under tops with low necklines. Please help a girl out 🥲🥲. Somebody recommended Natori Feathers, but I want some opinions before I buy a 110$ bra... Measurements: Loose: 28.5 Snug: 27.5 Tight: 26.5 Standing: 32.5 Leaning: 33.5 Lying: 32

EDIT: removed pics, was getting weird messages Hi! Stumbled upon this amazing sub five days ago and have read and learned a ton!! Hopefully I’m capturing all of the pertinent info below, tried to be comprehensive Measurements : 32-31-30-36-38-37 Calc size: 32E (uk) What I’ve been wearing - 34C or 34D in VS lined Demi (so a moulded t shirt bra) What I’ve learned about my shape: FoT, even distribution fullness (outside or center), asymmetrical breasts. Left is at least one full cup size larger than right. Not close set, breasts do not touch. Confused about: \- shallow vs projected. I think I’m shallow BUT the issue I consistently have is that bras that are shallow (moulded cups, t shirt style, lined and non seamed) do not work for me - so does that mean I am not shallow? Can someone be shallow but need a bra that has immediate projection? \- Roots - every time I think I have it figured out, I get confused. I have all of the common bra fit issues that accompany narrow roots but also some of the issues that go with wider roots. Soooo I can’t figure out which camp I fall in. Issues I have had with bras (primarily VS lined Demi in 34C and 34D as I thought this was the only style bra that existed. Wish I was kidding lol) \*\* I realize many of these can be attributed to the fact that I’ve worn the wrong size and style bra for all of my bra wearing years but I’m adding them to give full picture in case it helps w suggestions \*\* \- 34D wires slide down, creating an empty area at bottom of cup \- 34C Wires sit on top of breast tissue (at bottom of cup) \- Top of boob wants to hop out, constant muffin top look/splitting boob in half \- 34D Empty space at top of cup, where cup fabric meets strap \- Gore too tall, feels like it pokes my sternum. I am sort of bony in the sternum so this might be a me thing that I need to deal with \- wires that poke/press my ribs (below my armpit, not at the bottom of the cup). Feels like the wire extends further back than my actual breast tissue and/or, the wire is too tall? After reading a ton here, I realized in addition to wearing the wrong size, I needed to look at bra styles that had more openness at the top so I went out in search of ABTF! Turns out where I live, there are no 32E in stores. So, I went out searching for 32ddd instead and found a whopping two! Here’s what I tried and my feedback: \- 32DDD Natori Feathers plunge: the little contour lining part was weird, didn’t lay right, sort of made a flat pancake on the side of my breast, I think this is just not the style for me overall. \- 32DDD Calvin Klein sensual stretch lace bra : too much fabric in the nipple area, cup came up too high, created weird empty space at top where bra and strap meet \- 32DD and 34D b.tempted It’s On underwire: 32DD cut into the top of my breast. 34D was closer to a good fit but the horizontal seam sat right across my nipples so the whole line protruded in a weird, unflattering way. \- 34D Soma stretch lace balconette: I bought this one because I was thrilled it checked many boxes! However…it’s not perfect 🤣 the good: gore lays flat, wire is actually IN my IMF and STAYS there, no overflowing at the top. The bad: the gore feels a bit tall for my liking and the wires on the sides are painful - like they feel as if they slant backwards at an angle (don’t know if I’m describing it well) making them extend beyond my breast tissue and they’re too tall. Please give me all the feedback and suggestions you can, i’m ready to buy a variety of different brands and styles online to do a major try on at home. I have a few Freya styles in my Macys cart but wanted to ask for help before buying!

For reference i am a size 30b in natori feathers plunge bra. My ribcage measurement (underbust) was 27", and bust measurement (fullest part) was 30 inches. I have never owned a 28C bra so I'm not sure if this will fit me better. If anyone has an idea of what would work or has similar measurements as me, that would be great

I [posted recently](https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/s/6s5tCw9PYl) about how I was wearing a 36DD (wildly incorrect) and my calculator size is a 32H. I finally went bra shopping yesterday and I ended up purchasing a Natori Memoir in 32H which feels like it fits everywhere really well but the underwire on that one like digs into my ribs badly so will likely be returning that one. The other bra I purchased was a Chantelle Norah in 32H. This one feels like butter and like I’m not wearing anything, its so incredibly comfortable. HOWEVER, my left breast is slightly larger than my right and the Norah bra is giving me some slight spillage on the left side only but I dont feel un secure at all and its not uncomfortable so I’m contemplating just keeping this one for now bc I need SOMETHING. Looking for other recommendations as well if anyone has any. I also tried on the Chantelle rive gauche which I know is well loved, I liked it but I learned I dont like full coverage bras on me, and the always feel like theyre swallowing me. I tend to gravitate towards balconette style bras even when I was wearing incorrect sizes but finding anything in person was limited. I also tried the Chantelle Norah Plunge bra and that was another contender (will say that was at nordstrom and the only reason I didnt go back to purchase was bc the girls working were actually evil and SO mean). But I did like that one as well and I didnt have the same spillage issue that the Chantelle Norah one I bought. Sorry this is long and convoluted, I hope I am starting to learn this stuff better as this has consumed the last week of my life essentially lol. Was also curious if anyone knows if skims 32H sizing is accurate at all, I saw theyre having a sale rn and I know theyre largely criticized but I am also on a tight budget and bras are expensive :) Loose Underbust: 31 Snug Underbust: 30 Tight Underbust: 29 Standing Bust: 38 Leaning Bust: 42 Lying Bust: 38 through this reddit page Ive been able to determine that I am: full on bottom, projected, with narrow roots, and short roots.

My measurements for reference: Loose 30 Snug 29 Tight 28 Standing Bust 35 Leaning 38 Lying 37 I'm in the US. I went to a fine lingerie store this morning, hoping to find a 28 band to try on. But the lady there told me they only carried 30 band sizes. So I asked her for a Natori 30G bra to try on. She said she didn't have any in 30G, but she had 30F so I said I'd try them on for size. She gave me a Natori wireless and a Natori Feathers plunge. I tried them on and they were too small, but when I looked at the tags they said US 30DDD. So afterwards I said to her, I thought I asked for these in 30F? And she said a 30DDD in US is the same as a 30F. I am so confused! Was she just lying to me? And if I wanted to try a 28 band, what size would I be, like in Skarlett Blue or Curvy Kate? I get so confused with the F, G and H sizes. I want to try and find some bras that come in a 28 band but I'm not sure what cup size to order.

I thought I might share a fresh take for the women readers here planning a stay at Raffles, MO, and other 5-star SEA hotels. This post is: *How to uplevel your Mexico/Caribbean resortwear game for Southeast Asia and look effortlessly elegant while actively sweating*. This post is for gals who are first-time travelers to SG, perhaps not natural fashionistas, prioritize comfort but also confidence, and are planning experiences centered on the hotels (and a few outside). I’ll also weave a little bit of hotel review into my packing list guide. I’m late 30s and often a solo traveler, and note *there are no affiliate links* for the garments listed here. **How I planned, shopped, and packed:** I imagined specific moments at these hotels and activities around the city. Everything had to pass: * **Will I melt immediately?** * **Can I walk in this?** (including nice dresses and heels) * **Will this still look intentional after humidity drenches me?** If not, it’s not coming. Other considerations: * r/onebag: With 2 stops to reach SG I didn’t want the risk of a lost checked bag. This [Eagle Creek garment folder](https://eaglecreek.com/products/pack-it-reveal-garment-folder-l) is the single best travel accessory to make everything fit and keep wrinkles at bay. Hair products at both hotels were excellent (Raffles provides a Dyson hairdryer) and each bathroom was loaded with complimentary sundries so I minimized toiletry packing. * Laundry services: Club rooms/suites at Mandarin include 2 pieces of laundry per day ([see privileges](https://www.mandarinoriental.com/en/singapore/marina-bay/stay/haus-65)). I used this for my sleepwear so I could pack less and pressing dresses on arrival. **So let’s get specific on the vibe at each hotel....** # Mandarin Oriental *Family-friendly city resort that you can dress up or down and still feel at ease.* The clientele: 98% of guests fell into 3 buckets * Young Australian or Asian families – Pretty casual and sometimes at or a bit below typical dress code for spaces like the club lounge, Haus 65. Think cropped casual pants, tees and tanks, and casual sandals / flip flops. * Old British couples – Imagine chinos, cardigans, and loafers/flats. A bit stuffy and not here to make a statement, which is totally fine! * Single businessmen – Dudes in suits. This post isn’t about them. Next! Key moments to pack for: * **Pool cabana** – [Natori caftan swim cover](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/palm-caftan-cover-up-dress-with-tassel/8105665?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&breadcrumb=Home%2FAll%20Results&color=300) splurge purchase gets you from your room to the pool and possibly lunch at Dolce Vita. Cabanas don’t require a reservation and I was able to get one multiple days in a row arriving around noon. * **Champagne breakfast at Haus 65** – [Absurdly flowy linen palazzo pants](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/linen-high-rise-palazzo-pants/8302457) and [black linen shell from Madewell](https://www.madewell.com/p/womens/clothing/tops-shirts/tops/shell-top-in-100-linen/NZ623/?ccode=BK0070). This is complimentary for Club rooms/suites which are *absolutely* worth it. The Marina Bay View Club King was $500/nt USD which I considered an excellent value for a single traveler that doesn't need extra space. * **Cocktails at Mo Bar, followed by dinner at Zuicho** – [Farm Rio linen blend Miranda dress](https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/farm-rio-miranda-a-line-sweetheart-midi-dress) *screams* Singapore. Dressy but not fussy, flowy and breathable. Not a cocktail dress, but worked just fine and is more my style. **Mandarin Takeaway** – I felt I packed well and most families and older British couples tended to dress more casually or conservatively. I did lock eyes with an older Asian woman who was the spitting image of [Patravadi Mejudhon](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0820280/?ref_=tt_cst_t_12) from White Lotus Season 3 and had fabulous style. I see you, girl. You’re a goddess. Okay, now onto…. # Raffles Singapore *Old world tropical elegance. You better have packed some nice stuff because this place is classy, but fabric choice like linen and flowy things give it an effortless / no fuss vibe. If you want to fuss, that definitely works here, too.* The clientele: Middle aged white folks * 90% of guests were 50+ year old couples. 5% of guests were young families. * Everyone had varying levels of dress and style, but I didn’t see a single person who felt out of place. Key moments to pack for: * **Afternoon tea in the Grand Lobby** – [Farm Rio asymmetric linen dress with banana leaf pattern](https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/hybrid/farm-rio-x-anthropologie-asymmetric-linen-blend-dress) and [Bernardo bow bootie heels](https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/product/bernardo-lizzie-sandal-booties-0400017284014.html?dwvar_0400017284014_color=SAND) were exactly on point. You don’t have to wear heels, but every woman there was in a nice dress, *not* a sundress. Pack a [light merino cardigan](https://unboundmerino.com/products/womens-fine-knit-merino-cardigan?variant=42476225134686) for chilly AC indoors. * **Singapore Slings at Long Bar** – A range of dress here, but smart casual is on the mark. My [palazzo linen pants](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/linen-high-rise-palazzo-pants/8302457) and [black linen shell from Madewell](https://www.madewell.com/p/womens/clothing/tops-shirts/tops/shell-top-in-100-linen/NZ623/?ccode=BK0070) was middle of the road. Ring up your butler who will help you skip the line into Long Bar as a hotel guest. * **Breakfast by the fountain outside Tiffin Room** – This is not breakfast in your yoga clothes or sweatpants and flip flops. I wore my casual dresses, like this [cargo a-line from Anthro](https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/by-anthropologie-cargo-a-line-midi-dress?color=011&quantity=1&type=STANDARD&_gl=1*v30v6p*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkMjOBhC5ARIsADIdb3c-bd5H7WDgex8QHyHzZfwXonEaynB5bqvFVCWFsum3UTtaI6cKGeAaArvQEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&gbraid=0AAAAADnwqi64Kub3AxOtC_025I3XxCyWS), and [brown Born sandals](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/born-brn-cove-modern-sandal-women/5932963?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&breadcrumb=Home%2FAll%20Results&color=200). * **Lounging on the shared veranda** – Anything goes because this is an extension of your hotel room, but you’ll feel fabulous ordering afternoon coffee service and reading a book on the veranda in [Zella athleisure dresses](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/atlas-zip-front-sleeveless-midi-dress/8526433?color=BLACK&utm_content=80782641000&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=pla-322138638154&utm_channel=low_nd_shopping_lia&utm_source=google&adpos=&creative=383012442715&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&acctid=21700000001689570&dskeywordid=322138638154&lid=92700081553510139&ds_s_kwgid=58700005468295068&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007631122&dsproductgroupid=322138638154&product_id=A7886925&merchid=1243147&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=local&storeid=733&locationid=9191893&targetid=pla-322138638154&campaignid=6512984596&adgroupid=80782641000&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=6512984596&gbraid=0AAAAAD8eAEkj5jJzuTSit9g01F21W8-wZ&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkMjOBhC5ARIsADIdb3d4AjvXD07vOrOebY93skp_M750EYZZGVF2ouUHlfZG8wWiAKkgVJ0aAoUyEALw_wcB) or linen pants and fancy hotel slippers provided. * ***A note on Raffles privacy*** – There have been reviews/comments on this sub that said the hotel felt busy and full of randos off the street, which almost made me not book. Once you get past the lobby, the hotel is absolutely private, and every entry is locked down with keycard access. My Palm Court King Suite felt quiet and secluded and I spent hours on the shared veranda. I was also never approached or questioned by staff if I belonged there, and was often greeted by name, so they quickly learn their guests. Other outings I packed for: * **Singapore Botanic Gardens and Gardens by the Bay** \- I’m in love with [Zella athleisure dresses](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/atlas-zip-front-sleeveless-midi-dress/8526433?color=BLACK&utm_content=80782641000&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=pla-322138638154&utm_channel=low_nd_shopping_lia&utm_source=google&adpos=&creative=383012442715&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&acctid=21700000001689570&dskeywordid=322138638154&lid=92700081553510139&ds_s_kwgid=58700005468295068&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007631122&dsproductgroupid=322138638154&product_id=A7886925&merchid=1243147&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=local&storeid=733&locationid=9191893&targetid=pla-322138638154&campaignid=6512984596&adgroupid=80782641000&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=6512984596&gbraid=0AAAAAD8eAEkj5jJzuTSit9g01F21W8-wZ&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkMjOBhC5ARIsADIdb3d4AjvXD07vOrOebY93skp_M750EYZZGVF2ouUHlfZG8wWiAKkgVJ0aAoUyEALw_wcB) that can be classed up a bit with a simple necklace. Breathable, wrinkle-resistant, and safe to have the hotel launder. [Cole Haan sneakers](https://www.colehaan.com/products/womens-grandpro-breakaway-lace-to-toe-sneakers-w33385) for legit walking and occasional afternoon rain showers. Tons of women are wearing dresses and sneakers. Get to GbtB early for the evening light show! It’s touristy but also spectacular. * **Michelin hawker small group walking food** **tour** \- This is as casual as it gets and it’s super muggy as you walk through Chinatown for \~3 hours. [Beyond Yoga Easy Wide Leg pants](https://beyondyoga.com/products/easy-wide-leg-pant-true-black-nn1263) keep you cool and are easy to clean if you’re clumsy with street food. Also double as great pants for overnight flights. Paired with a [featherweight cropped Jcrew tee](https://www.jcrew.com/p/womens/categories/clothing/tees-and-tanks/CK310?display=all&fit=Classic&colorProductCode=CK310&colorCode=WT0002) and [Tumi Persia cross-body](https://www.tumi.com/p/persia-crossbody-0146579T522). If you’re new to SE Asian 5-star hotels, I hope this provides some inspiration for how to pack for your trip. Your style may vary from mine and everyone should feel empowered to wear what gives them confidence and comfort. This is only one perspective from a late 30s solo female American traveler. https://preview.redd.it/00h5kkrgphtg1.png?width=2163&format=png&auto=webp&s=f9f86fa0f142090a2f056db3751f773fde39df6c https://preview.redd.it/k7w43nqxphtg1.png?width=1934&format=png&auto=webp&s=3d447bd1419df77a0756bb454e3f978a19ed300e https://preview.redd.it/38u03ttyqhtg1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35a57f169d95f6b01e0040b89a0529f563709b87 https://preview.redd.it/62qgjwpzphtg1.png?width=584&format=png&auto=webp&s=e880b11766a36cb3af34eea0ac0c7fac602e9965 https://preview.redd.it/ksh1lc40qhtg1.png?width=590&format=png&auto=webp&s=2dd06be30861ed911777bf258b97df5700992653 https://preview.redd.it/ycvd8n41rhtg1.jpg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=652126ab2398599a7f86a8aeb4d7da13d8fb1808 https://preview.redd.it/ewio9jrbrhtg1.jpg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f07ebd2f618a5c50a6f14fe8afc82a216032173 https://preview.redd.it/9hdtbbi6qhtg1.png?width=658&format=png&auto=webp&s=c5ac6ddb0772ca1af25afbc3adff754d7ee46ac9 https://preview.redd.it/9k70kvlaqhtg1.png?width=1053&format=png&auto=webp&s=c79306583b2d28386828a247301bb2a190eb9999 https://preview.redd.it/oog5bagbqhtg1.png?width=758&format=png&auto=webp&s=3bb2e5c49540045a516b3f7fbce587000786862c https://preview.redd.it/v5yam9vbqhtg1.png?width=1482&format=png&auto=webp&s=5c3b3960210bd0630c898b8d1b116be882d2a2ac https://preview.redd.it/rndwb6b4rhtg1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c67f780dde59382642843cf80c2b257bba258382 https://preview.redd.it/mmarbjgcqhtg1.png?width=691&format=png&auto=webp&s=7e2594d93986d3430107771302cc18c228856fc8 https://preview.redd.it/mga7kmucqhtg1.png?width=2106&format=png&auto=webp&s=36b57f663824510930a98b03d496cb0dd9128ef9 https://preview.redd.it/k1ehbs3eqhtg1.png?width=740&format=png&auto=webp&s=d0ee97b0d55c803205f5ce29eaceeebfbc343afd

These are the measurements I entered in the calculator (inches): Loose underbust: 35.5 Snug underbust 35 Tight underbust: 34 standing bust 42.5 leaning bust:46 lying bust: 43.5 Suggested starting size is 36FF/G UK or 36 H/I US Sister Size of 34 G/GG or 34 I/J US may be more supportive per the result I have 3 bras that used to fit well but seem to be too small: Natori Liquid Full fit T-shirt bra 36DDD- the gore no longer tacks and a little quad boob Natori Beyond Underwire Contour bra 36DDD- This was my favorite best fitting most comfortable bra when the j hook was used but didn't give the best shape without it. Now I get indents where the lace and cups are. the band is still comfortable and the gore tacks. B'Tempted Ciao Bella plunge Contour 36DDD- Quad boob but gore still tacks. the wires were a little high on the sides on this one so I wore it only when I needed the nice round shape it gave. I would consider my breasts moderately projected, I look even fullness leaning but more FOB standing, narrow roots, breasts are slightly splayed standing due to the shape of my rib cage and abdomen (thanks gravity), but are close set when leaning. I'm a little confused on root height due to being 5'3 with a very short torso. I have never had success with full coverage cups as they seem to expect breast tissue near my clavicle. The shape of my roots on my body seem tall though. My main concern with the suggested sizes is that the cups will be too tall, the wires too tall both in the gore and in my arm pit. I know brand and style with affect that as well. I try to stick to half cup/demi or plunge but the options there, other than Polish, are really sparse and what is called a demi or plunge doesn't really match what I would call demi or plunge. Should I choose the smaller cup sizes I was given by the calculator or possibly one size smaller due to my proportions?

In every bra, my tail of spence always gets pushed up into my armpit. I've tried a variety of bras (everything from the Natori Feathers up to various projected Polish brands, ex. Ewa Michalak) yet it it's always there. Obviously it's unsightly, but it's uncomfortable too. I really hate the feeling. This is what I mean: [https://postimg.cc/jDkTpKX1](https://postimg.cc/jDkTpKX1) Does anyone know if this is a sign something is off with my bra, or is it just my anatomy?
