But...I do? I can use my coinbase card anywhere visa is accepted and spend whatever crypto I like as USD. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Had the card for years and never have had an issue.

After the wealthy finish their smash and grab distribution, they buy a half-assed robot with quarter-assed AI, declare it good enough, and force you to train it to receive your final paycheck. Your final paycheck bounces, because AI told the CEO 50% of people won't fight for it, and it will be a net profit after returned check fees. You call your representatives because you can't figure out how to sign up for unemployment or medicaid or SNAP and their voicemail is full. Once you lose your home, a company called "American Homes 4 You (NOT Blackrock) LLC" offers to rent it back to you after denying your loan application, for only 2.5x what your mortgage cost. You are responsible for all maintenance, repairs, yardcare, snow removal, pothole repair, appliances, utilities, keeping it showing ready, a $900 HOA fee with semi-annual inflation adjustment and no voting rights and NDA and arbitration/no lawsuit agreement, run by a management company called "American HOA for America (NOT Blackstone) LLC". USD no longer legally tender, only USD1 or USDT. Walmart, Dollar General, grocery stores only accept preloaded USD1 "Dave & Buster & Coinbase's" card. Stock market drops 80% during overnight session in anticipation of retirement account selloff for survival.

ive been on the Coinbase card for almost a year now and its the only one that hasnt randomly locked me out. at Merehead we switched the whole team off [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) after similar freeze issues and Coinbase was the only one that just worked without weekly verification emails. its not the best cashback but i can actually buy stuff online without praying the transaction goes through. only downside is its us only basically so if youre elsewhere youre probably stuck with wirex or just using a regular bank card

When I say AMEX isn’t associated with them at all, that’s in relation with the acquisition/credit decisioning process of the Coinbase card. Any other ownership interest or stake Amex has with Cardless is irrelevant to the card. It’s just like someone owning shares of Amex stocks and then claiming involvement in their credit approval process by extension.
comment r/CreditCards u/headsvoiceless 2026-05-15
wait you're spending 2.4k monthly on groceries but zero on travel and gas? that's some serious food budget there lol anyway for your setup i'd probably skip the amex gold since that annual fee is pretty steep if you're not using travel benefits. the capital one savor sounds more your speed - no fee and hits those categories you actually use. plus entertainment category is pretty broad so covers most fun stuff coinbase card could work too if you're into crypto rewards but depends on your comfort level with that whole thing. amazon prime visa makes sense if you're already spending decent money in their ecosystem

i know this is going to annoy some people, but most crypto cards still do not feel like real crypto adoption to me. they feel like off ramps with better branding. you hold crypto, then somewhere in the middle it still becomes fiat, touches a card network, and gets spent through the same old rails. maybe the app looks more modern. maybe the rewards are different. maybe the card has a nicer name. but from the user side, a lot of it still feels like a debit card with extra steps. sell this, top up that, check which country is supported, hope the merchant accepts the card, hope the card does not get declined because it looks prepaid, then later figure out what fees or spread you actually paid. i am not saying these cards are useless. honestly, some of them are very useful. if you get paid in stables, travel a lot, or keep money across different wallets and exchanges, having a card layer can be way less annoying than doing the full exchange to bank to card dance every time. but i think we oversell what this is. a crypto card that lets me buy coffee is not automatically mainstream adoption. it might just be a cleaner way to exit into regular payment rails. and maybe that is fine. maybe the real value is not ideological at all. maybe the whole point is just reducing the number of stupid steps between on chain money and boring bills. i have been comparing a few options lately. coinbase card, crypto.com, nexo, redotpay, buvei, plus the normal bank and wise route. every single one has some annoying tradeoff. exchange cards are convenient, but you are tied to that exchange. bank withdrawals feel safer, but they are slow. virtual card setups are flexible, but merchant acceptance can get weird.regular credit cards are still easiest, but they do not solve anything if the money starts on chain.

post r/StableCoins u/standovahim_ 2026-05-13
i keep seeing people talk about stablecoins like the payment problem is already solved. kind of yes, kind of no. moving value around is not the annoying part anymore. getting paid in stables is fine. sending money between wallets is fine. the part that still feels unfinished is paying for normal stuff without turning it into a tiny off ramp project every time. i have tried a few routes. exchange to bank still works, but it is slow and boring. sell, withdraw, wait, move money again, then finally use a normal card. exchange cards are convenient when they work, but then your whole payment setup depends on one exchange account and whatever countries they support that month. regular credit cards are still the easiest for daily life, but they do not solve the fact that the money started on chain. redotpay, crypto.com, coinbase card, nexo and similar card setups all solve parts of this, but they all have their own weird tradeoffs around fees, region support, limits, merchant acceptance, and how much balance you want sitting there. i have also been looking at crypto funded virtual card setups. Buvei is one of the ones i am comparing right now, mostly because it sits in that boring middle layer between stablecoin balance and regular online spend. not calling it the answer. i honestly do not think there is one clean answer here. some merchants hate prepaid or virtual cards. some cards are great until you travel. some setups are fine for subscriptions but not great for daily spend. some are smooth but make me nervous from a custody point of view. i think the real question is not which card is best. it is which annoying tradeoff you can actually live with. for people here who use stables for more than holding or trading, what setup has actually held up for normal bills? exchange card, bank route, virtual card, local fintech card, or something else entirely?

no one for me rn either, US specifically is the problem. card products that actually work here are still limited to Coinbase Card (which is the worst conversion structure you described OP) and a couple newer launches that all have spending caps under 5k monthly. EU and CH side has Bybit Card running clean USDT spending direct from balance, but thats not solving anything for someone in the US. for now Bitrefill gift cards is what im running, no card layer, no conversion fees, accepts crypto directly. not the same product but covers most of the use cases until US side catches up

Yeah absolutely. I Do the same with my Coinbase card but I’m more referring to using uour wallet to pay for things in any manner of cryptocurrency, solana, ethereum, sui, etc. if USDC is realistically the only one that will be used wide spread than there’s not much difference between that and a standard debit card.

I been trying to figure out how to game the credit card rewards system for years. I have a Gemini card and a coinbase card that give me back my rewards in Bitcoin, so naturally I want to get more Bitcoin. They've pretty much figured out to make sure the consumer doesn't pull a fast one by locking down all angles of the card. Even if you start your own business and send yourself huge invoices and pay them with a credit card, that costs 3% and the most you'll get is 2% rewards so you don't end up ahead. ( Plus taxes if it's considered revenue) If you figure something out, let me know. But it's very hard to beat them at their own game

Does anybody use the Coinbase debit card with upside to get both cash back & “crypto back” at the gas stations? Just asking
comment r/defi u/DeoManus 2026-05-05
The Coinbase card is my daily use card because 4% (there are tiers from 2-4% depending on the assets you hold on CB) back on everything in BTC is hard to beat. Also love that it's an Amex so you get all the other benefits that always come with using Amex. I have other cards for specific purposes, of course, but CB is my daily driver.
comment owned r/Coinbase u/No_Article_1311 2026-05-05
A month is absurd. Coinbase's card support is basically a wall and every issue gets punted to the merchant even when it's clearly on their side. There are plenty of better options now if you actually want to spend stables like there is EtherFi/KAST which both handle auth holds.
comment r/Trading365 u/MadSL1m 2026-05-05
Reaffirms the experience that most EU users have. 2.49% spread is the stealth killer. Coinbase won't even mention it in fees since it is embedded in the exchange rate. If you're looking for the no token staking feature but without the spread, then self-custody cards would do a much better job in EU. Gnosis Pay (Mastercard) and etherfi cash both pay merchants in stablecoins, so you just have one conversion at card top up instead of at every transaction. No need for CRO/BNB staking. They both also support HU/RO/BG, which are not available on Coinbase. Coinbase Card is only worth using in EU if you're spending out of your USDC and avoiding all conversion.

Does anybody that uses the Coinbase debit card know how long transactions can pend for? I’ve been waiting on my deposit back from a hotel and it’s been almost a month yet they still say pending. This is starting to frustrate me because support keeps saying to contact the merchant to have them release the funds but the hotel releases the deposit after check out, I’ve even stayed at the same hotel again using a different card and got my deposit back within two days. Definitely won’t be using this card again.

Just went deep on the Coinbase Card for European users and the tldr is: it's fine if you're already locked into Coinbase, but it's not the best crypto card in Europe right now. The thing most people don't realise is the UK and EU versions are completely different products. UK users get the better deal — higher ATM limits, actual cashback, faster card delivery. EU users get a stripped-back version with limited rewards and lower limits. Some EU countries (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria) can't even get the card at all. The real kicker is the spread. Every time you tap the card and pay with crypto (not USDC or fiat), Coinbase liquidates your crypto at point of sale and hits you with a \~2.49% conversion spread. That's not listed as a "fee" — it's baked into the exchange rate. For comparison, [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) with CRO staking is around 0.5–1%, and even Revolut X sits at 1.5–2%. So if you're spending BTC on groceries, you're paying roughly €2.49 extra per €100. Do that daily and it adds up fast. The no-staking angle is genuinely the one thing Coinbase has going for it though. Unlike [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) (CRO stake) or Binance (BNB stake), you don't need to lock up platform tokens to access rewards. For UK users spending from USDC or GBP fiat, it's actually a solid option. Bottom line: UK + USDC = good. EU + volatile crypto = look elsewhere. Full breakdown with country eligibility table and competitor comparison here: [https://trading365.org/guides/coinbase-card-europe-review-2026-is-it-worth-it-for-uk-and-eu-users](https://trading365.org/guides/coinbase-card-europe-review-2026-is-it-worth-it-for-uk-and-eu-users) Anyone here actually using the Coinbase Card in the EU? Curious what your experience has been with declines and cashback availability.

yep. CRO accumulation for me only happens because of rewards from the credit card. I've made my bags from CRO. I don't put anymore USD into it. Only rewards and it goes to the next card upgrade. Not necessarily losing anything. Arguably I could use Geminis or Coinbases card and get BTC back but i'm willing to make a gamble and see how it plays out. Especially with the Cronos app releasing in a couple of months.

yeah, mostly for everyday spending these days, been using EtherFi's cash card as my daily driver since it works on visa rails through apple pay and pays 3% back in wETH on everything wiithout needing to stake a platform token.. Coinbase card and Crypto.com are the other common options but i ended up preferring EtherFi because the cashback structure is flat and straightforward rather than tiered behind token lock-ups.

Hi, I am not sure how Coinbase performs in other parts of the world. I am still using it mainly with Gemini (as an alternate backup exchange) in Singapore. The advantage is no withdrawal fee to transfer money back to one's bank account. Gemini does charge a fee for every withdrawal. But the Coinbase Card is still not available in Singapore. Is Coinbase in Singapore flawless? Nope, but overall it is reliable (imho) most of the time. So far, I have only encountered one small hiccup. I could not make payments directly from two of my cards to purchase cryptoassets. I spent more than 3 hours with a Coinbase agent online to troubleshoot. I worked as a Senior Technical Support Analyst in a call centre in my previous employment. In summary, it turned out that the two card issuers implemented policies on their cards restricting cryptoasset-related transactions. Fyi :)

Yes, you can spend it, just keep only spending money in the hot wallet and hold savings in cold storage. I tried Coinbase Card and [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) first, and lately I use EtherFi because I can top up with stables and get flat 3% wETH cashback.
comment r/CryptoHelp u/One-Chip9029 2026-04-22
For online purchases I'd use USDC first (cleaner merchant support) and keep it in Rabby or Coinbase Wallet with small hot-wallet balances. For spending, compare Coinbase Card and Nexo too, but I ended up using EtherFi because it gives flat 3% wETH cashback without staking or locking and works with Apple Pay.

comment r/CryptoHelp u/One-Chip9029 2026-04-21
That frustration is legit, sudden KYC gates are exactly why people move off custodial exchanges. I keep trading funds minimal on CEXs and park assets in self custody; for spending I tested Coinbase Card and Nexo and now mostly use EtherFi since keys stays with me and rewards are predictable.

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. The Coinbase card is NOT issued or serviced by Amex and has absolutely nothing to do with them. The card runs on the Amex payment network and is issued by First Electronic Bank, serviced through Cardless. You can’t even contact the issuer (First Electronic Bank) directly for service issues related to the card let alone Amex that isn’t associated with this product in any shape or form.

So are a number of smaller airline cards, such as the Avianca or Qatar airline card. And the disaster that was the Celtics credit card. The BILT and Coinbase cards are unique in the sense they are semi-managed by BILT and Coinbase respectively - they don't use the Cardless credit card portal or apps, only the program tools.

People who consistently use Coinbase and are happy with it usually stay quiet, so you mostly just hear complaints. I’ve personally never had an issue in 4 years, low fees with advanced buys, an easy to use app, plus the Coinbase card and rewards. No problems on my end
comment r/CreditCards u/st-izzy 2026-04-17
If you are talking about cards that spend crypto then yes the conversion to fiat should generate a taxable event. If you are talking about getting rewards back in crypto like how the Coinbase card gives 2% - 4% Cashback in the form of BTC then the BTC you receive is not taxed until you sell it. Though calculating gains seems like a nightmare if you use the card a lot and get a bunch of BTC at different price points. Unless they automate that for you which I haven’t checked.

comment r/CreditCards u/D2LtN39Fp 2026-04-16
Every purchase still becomes a taxable event with the Coinbase card right? When you sell or liquidate your Bitcoin cashback you have to report that as a sale of property and know the cost basis. How do you track the price of Bitcoin every time you use your card and earn the “cashback”?
comment owned r/Coinbase u/dalikon 2026-04-16
I'm not sure if an update has been posted in here, but the Coinbase card added Plaid Support. You just need to reach out to YNAB support and they will manually set this up on the backend for you and you will have to go in and authenticate, and after that it will connect.
comment owned r/Coinbase u/Sufficient-Rent9886 2026-04-16
limits on the coinbase card usually aren’t something you can manually request, they tend to adjust over time based on your account history, usage patterns, and how consistent your funding is, even if you’re fully verified, one practical step is to keep using the card regularly with smaller transactions and make sure your bank transfers settle cleanly without reversals, also worth checking if your limit is tied to your fiat balance vs available crypto since that can affect what you see, and keep in mind in the us they’re pretty strict on compliance so limits can stay conservative depending on risk signals, are you trying to increase it for daily spending or a one time larger purchase?

comment owned r/Coinbase u/ajude10 2026-04-13
Yea that’s where it falls apart. It says to contact Amex (by phone - they don’t know anything about the Coinbase card, they only handle cards issued through the major banks) or use the online link, which doesn’t show the Coinbase card, since it only shows cards linked to your Amex account (real Amex cards, not a “network” card or whatever this is, which can’t be added). End result- infinite loop of support between Amex, Coinbase One, Coinbase Card support, and Cardless.

That said, I did get the CSP (because I didn’t qualify for the SUB on reserve) to get goood insurance for our trips. If we have to cancel. Also to cheaply trial the points game again. It’s a cheap card tbh but I think I’m gonna cancel after one year since they nerfed DoorDash credit and maybe get a deltas airline card for travel etc.

I went into monarch and attempt to add it in and it worked! We now have coinbase one credit card support. In my case it didnt go back and fetch all my previous transactions but it did load up a few of them. Hope this means all future transactions work correctly. I moved a ton of my transactions to my coinbase card so these last few months all the expenses side of monarch were useless for me.

So no live data but it will import all the line items from the statements and attempt to categorize them based on what you already have categorized. Mainly just made it for the coinbase card but it can be extended in the future with plugins for other hard-to-sync items. Would gladly add cardless support in the future if there is a reliable way to get the data.

Hmm, so putting the whole bot thing aside, I researched the card and I hate it: the Coinbase Card requires members to be subscribed to their Coinbase One plan, AND it doesn't work on the basic $5/month plan UNLESS you do the **annual** basic $49.99/year subscription, otherwise you need to pay for the next higher-up plan which is $29.99/month or $299.99/year. Also. the $5/month plan benefits are absolute trash: [https://www.coinbase.com/one](https://www.coinbase.com/one) \^ Like you only get up to $500/month in zero trading fees, only $1k in account protection, no 24/7 support (hah!), no free wires, and getting only 3.50% APY on USDC is below rate on stables.

As I found out painfully yesterday when trying to reconcile my Coinledger numbers to my 1099-DA, any transactions that are directly funded through Crypto via the Coinbase Card seem to be excluded from the 1099-DA totals for disposal/proceeds (thus causing a discrepancy between my tax software generated 8949 and my 1099-DA numbers). I hit up Coinbase support about this and they said "its a global issue, we're aware" without any ETA on resolution or if I'd be re-issued a corrected 1099-DA. Slightly frustrating but yea, figured I'd get this out there incase anyone else runs into this. Happy tax season friends.

Let’s assume you have enough assets on Coinbase to hit the 4% reward. And let’s assume you trust Coinbase as a company and are constructive on BTC long term. Seems like the best card in terms of rewards - 2% cash back is pretty standard and this is twice that. No annual fee (maybe they’ll introduce on in the future). is there a catch here that I’m not seeing/understanding?
comment r/CryptoCurrency u/Hamzehaq7 2026-03-11
have you checked out Coinbase's card? they let you spend directly from your USDC, and I think you can create more virtual cards than Solflare. tbh, their interface is pretty slick too. just make sure to keep an eye on any fees, tho. could be worth a shot, especially if you're juggling multiple ad accounts!

Those were the days! At one point I was getting 5% cash back in xlm with the coinbase card

I used to use the Coinbase card to convert UCDC to USD to make purchases but there was always problems with the cost basis even though $1 USD should be the same as $1 USDC. I vowed not to mess with USDC as much as possible since then.

I tried this and my phone number didn’t allow me to access my Coinbase card.

I give the AI screenshots of my Coinbase card transactions and access to my YNAB ledger. It suggests the changes needed to reconcile YNAB with Coinbase, and I review and approve each one. https://ledgergpt.io

The irony is real selling crypto tools but not taking crypto. For WordPress themes check out Themeforest some authors accept crypto via private payments if you message them. Also Creative Market and Gumroad have creators who take crypto directly. For exhaustive lists Bitcoin.Travel Spendabit and Coinmap are decent. But honestly direct crypto acceptance is still piecemeal. Workaround? Use a crypto debit card (like Coinbase Card or Binance Card) anywhere Visa is accepted including most theme marketplaces.

I’ve used my rewards for purchases but not w the gomining card. I withdraw to my trust wallet, send to Coinbase, and use my Coinbase card to get $BTC as my cashback option. No fees to load or any other bs. Seems to be some mixed reviews depending on your vip tier and what you use it for.

Coinbase card. Which returns up to 5% back in BTC. So it basically covers the spread. And then if it continues to grow it’ll more than cover it. Turns out they won’t let me use it though so 🤷‍♂️

I moved on to the coinbase card for 2% on btc. Maybe I’ll rotate back to sofi when markets start pumping.

Hi, u/Valhareth! Thanks for sharing your feedback and bringing this to our attention. We understand how manually updating Coinbase Card rewards might not feel convenient. Please send us a DM via Modmail, so we can better understand the issue and assist you further.

I noticed at some point the Coinbase card rewards were asked to be updated manually by the user. Which makes no sense. 🤯🤯

Better than Coinbase card??

I looked into this myself and figured it out. Coinbase partnered with Cardless, which has a separate app/website that you can login to view your Coinbase card transactions. Luckily, Plaid supports Cardless so you just need to setup a Cardless account and then login via Cardless.

Well the Coinbase card is American Express so... kinda?

Hi u/pRhyME_3000! For the Coinbase One credit card, your rewards tier (and % back) is based on your total assets held with Coinbase (assets under custody / “assets on Coinbase”), not just one specific asset type like only crypto or only USDC. That means your overall custodial balance on Coinbase is what matters for tiering, and the app will show you which tier and rewards rate you actually qualify for. Because program rules can change and may differ by region, we can’t promise that “$10k in stocks alone = 2%” in every case. The most accurate info for your account is: • Check your current tier and rewards rate directly in the app under the Coinbase One / card section • Review the latest terms and support [docs](https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/other-topics/coinbase-one/account) here. Coinbase Card & Coinbase One Card [help center](https://help.coinbase.com): (search “Coinbase Card” or “Coinbase One Card rewards”) If your in‑app tier doesn’t match what you think it should be based on your total assets, it’s worth contacting Coinbase [Support](https://help.coinbase.com/en), so they can look at your specific account.

Citi Custom Cash has a higher earn rate but a lower cap, so if you're gonna max out the categories the CCR is still better (though you could also add additional CCCs as needed for high spend categories). CCC also doesn't have an Online Spend category. ~~If you're going significantly over the max, you might do better with an RH Gold, if you can get it. That's also more of a "set it and forget it" situation because you don't need to worry about categories and swapping between cards, but RH isn't the most *reliable* issuer in the world.~~ Edit: read your linked post. If you're getting 4% flat on the Coinbase card, is it really worth juggling and tying up capital at BoA to get an extra half percent?

I tried to add Coinbase card to American Express account where my other American Express cards managed. Didn't find the way to do so. Asked ChatGPT: can I add Coinbase American Express credit card to my American Express online account? Response: No — you generally **cannot add the** ***Coinbase One American Express Card*** **to your American Express online account or dashboard like you can with traditional AmEx credit cards.** This card is issued through Coinbase (in partnership with the AmEx network), and account management (billing, statements, payments, rewards, etc.) happens **inside the Coinbase app or Coinbase account site**, not through the AmEx U.S. online account interface.  # Key points * The **Coinbase One Card** runs on the American Express network and uses AmEx benefits on purchases, but it **doesn’t show up as a regular AmEx account** on the [americanexpress.com](http://americanexpress.com) site.  * Management of the card — viewing transactions, paying your bill, rewards — must be done through **Coinbase (usually the mobile app)**.  * Traditional AmEx online account features (e.g., account dashboard, messages, statements) **aren’t available for this card** the way they are for cards issued directly by American Express.  If your goal is to manage finances in one place, you typically *can’t* unify this card under your standard AmEx login; it’s tied to your Coinbase account instead. For the most accurate and up-to-date guidance, check Coinbase support or the Coinbase One Card FAQ inside the app.

Thank you for sharing your experience, u/Bitter_Try4237. We completely understand how frustrating this situation must be. When a card is flagged for suspicious activity, it is typically suspended by the issuing bank or network for review. Unfortunately, in such cases, Coinbase support cannot override the block until the review process is completed. This measure is in place to protect you from unauthorized transactions and ensure the security of your account. Note that you’re still covered by standard credit‑card [protections for unauthorized charges](https://static-assets.coinbase.com/creditcard/v1/american_express_cardholder_benefit.pdf). If a charge posts that you didn’t authorize: 1. You can immediately [lock the card](https://help.coinbase.com/en/creditcard/lock-card) in the Coinbase app, which stops new transactions. 2. Then you can [ file a dispute](https://help.coinbase.com/en/creditcard/declines) using the “Coinbase Card” option at help.coinbase.com or by calling the number on the back of your card. If you're still having issue with your Coinbase one card, please send us a Modmail, and we'll do our best to assist you. Your feedback here is important, and we take it seriously as we work to improve how these situations are communicated and handled.

That is correct. My card was deactivated for suspicious activity when I attempted to buy airline tickets. It has been two weeks. I have made multiple calls to Coinbase’s support line, and the only answer I received was, “We can’t help you. Please wait.” This all happened after I called several times, provided my ID, sent a picture of myself with my ID, and answered security questions. In the end, Coinbase credit card support told me they are not American Express and that I have to wait for a response from American Express. Basically, the Coinbase card team cannot provide real support — they are just a middleman. I wonder what would happen if an unauthorized purchase appeared on the card. Would we have to contact the middleman (Coinbase), and someone with a strong accent would then pass the information to American Express? Is this safe? Are customers really protected?

Hey u/720-303! We get why this feels awful — seeing “$220 available” on your Coinbase Card but still not being able to spend it, especially after waiting 1–2 weeks on earlier deposits, doesn’t feel like how a debit card should work. What’s happening is that money moved in from a linked bank (ACH) is available to trade, but some or all of it can be on [hold for withdrawals](https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/trading-and-funding/sending-or-receiving-cryptocurrency/available-balance-faq) and card spending while the deposit fully clears. During that hold, you can buy/sell crypto, but you can’t use those specific funds to send off Coinbase, cash out, or spend with the card. The hold window depends on account history and payment activity, and support can’t manually shorten it. A few ways to make this less painful: * On each bank deposit/add‑cash, check the confirmation screen or email — it shows when those funds will be available to withdraw or spend with the card. * If you need funds that act more like “true” debit money, use a debit‑card or PayPal deposit instead of ACH where available — those don’t get the same withdrawal hold treatment (though existing holds on your account can still apply). You can find payment method timelines [here](https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/add-a-payment-method/add-and-verify-pm-namerica-latam). * If a deposit is past the “available by” date and you still can’t spend with the card, please contact us at https://help.coinbase.com→ Coinbase Card with screenshots of the deposit, card balance, and any decline message so we can review it more closely. We know that doesn’t change the experience you’ve already had, but we hope it clarifies what’s going on and how to avoid another long wait.

Hey u/Manakio2k! That sounds incredibly frustrating, having your debit card cancelled and replaced without any notice, and then your new digital card not working on top of feeling like support didn’t help, is not the experience we want you to have. We can’t see account specifics from here, but we do want this re‑reviewed. If you already have a support case open, please share just the case number here (no email, card number, or other personal details). If you don’t have a case yet, please reach out via help.coinbase.com, select the Coinbase Card option, and briefly mention this Reddit post in your description. Once you’ve got a case number, you can also Modmail(DM) it to us, so we can flag it to the team for a closer look.

I am a US citizen as well and you would be able to think they will be able to verify. Crazy part is that I have a Coinbase Card with them and they are able to pull out money from my bank account but are not able to verify me. FML.

Lol. Yea, no kidding. I'm not in a huge rush from what I'm hearing. I think I'll stick to spending on my coinbase card and earning free BTC using that. It's not much, but it's still more rewards than just spening fiat out of my checking account. Plus, you earn 3.5% on idle USDC in your coinbase account.

Yea the coinbase card is nice as well as the robin hood card. Both have good benefits to using them
