Managing drivers and riders becomes messy when tracking, attendance, and payouts all sit in different tools. That was the biggest issue for us. We tried a couple of field workforce management software options, and **Workstatus** worked reasonably well because it combined live tracking, task updates, and attendance in one place without being too technical for the team.

Interesting breakdown. One thing I’ve noticed with field teams is that the “best” tool is usually the one employees don’t fight using after 2-3 months. We tested a few before settling on Workstatus for GPS attendance + timesheets because it felt lighter operationally for site staff. Curious how others here compare it against Jibble long term for construction crews.

For our team, automatic time tracking made the biggest difference we finally saw real work hours without manual effort. We also tried Workstatus, and its simple dashboards helped us quickly understand where time was going.

We switched to **Workstatus** for our creative team simple UI, built-in time tracking, and good project visibility without the clutter of bigger PM tools. During demos, we usually ask: How easy is time tracking for creatives? and Can we quickly see project profitability and team workload without complex setup?

It really depends on the company and their culture. Tools like Monitask, Hubstaff, and ActivTrak can track things like active time, apps/websites used, and sometimes screenshots but webcam access is rare and usually a huge red flag if done without consent. I have also seen teams use tools like Workstatus more for time visibility and project tracking rather than spying when used transparently, it’s more about understanding workload than watching every click.

Basic time tracking is a good starting point for small teams, but as you scale it quickly becomes too shallow hours logged don’t show workload balance, focus shifts, burnout signals, or margin impact, which is why many growing service teams move toward workforce intelligence platforms ActivTrak, Insightful, and tools like Workstatus that connect time with productivity patterns and team-level trends rather than just counting hours.
