🛸 Alien Base Weekly Update - April 24th, 2026
💪 Solid week of fixes and progress. Crushed a critical zapping bug and finished the new portfolio section (not live yet tho). Also Epsilon beta testing visible on the horizon. Here's your overview:
\## 🛠️ Dev Update
\- 🛠️Fixed a critical bug in the sequential zapping flow. When OpenOcean returned bad call data, the swap would fail silently but the flow kept going, leaving users stuck with no way to retry. Now if a swap fails, the flow restarts from scratch using 0x as a fallback, with a clear error message explaining what happened.
\- 🔁 Worked on improving swap quote validation to catch invalid quotes before they reach the chain. Addresses cases where the API returns a positive price impact that then reverts on execution.
\- 🦊Investigating MetaMask crashes. Wallet is crashing and logging users out before transactions can be signed. We need to identify the root cause.
\- 🪙Token list optimized for better performance.
\- 💼Worked on adding portfolio section with full historical data support. For each ERC-20 balance, users will be able to view average entry price, realized PnL , and unrealized PnL. Live soon ™
\- 🛠️Fixed locked pool modal not adjusting correctly to mobile. Was requiring lateral scroll.
\## 🚀 Mothership

\- 🏁The first Mothership strategy is in its final stages. The approach is defined and the remaining work is fine-tuning before it is ready.
\## 🇪 Epsilon
\- 🔄The order execution engine for Epsilon has been rebuilt on Go for speed and reliability. It's scalable and production ready.
\- ⚙️The full backend is now deployed and ready.
\- 🎨Frontend integration moving forward without blockers.
\- 🕵️An auditor has been selected and we're planning the audit.
\- 📝We started planning beta testing as it's around corner. We want to involve the community but making sure they provide valuable and reliable feedback.
\## 🆕 ALB 2.0 (Contracts Migration)
\- 📝 Migration contract specs continuing next week. Team is finishing Epsilon first before fully switching context.
