I have heard up to 3% of your total budget for stationary (which would be engagement announcements, save the dates, invites, stamps, programs, menus, escort cards, place cards, table number signs, thank you cards) So if your budget is 10K up to $300 for all stationary https://www.minted.com/wedding-ideas/wedding-budgets#building\_your\_budget Congratulations!💍

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I actually work at Minted, and while I might be late for OP's question, hoping this answer can be helpful for anyone else with a similar question.  I love custom design questions are because I went this route for my own wedding and had approximately one million questions about it. The best route to start is to begin with a smaller item, like menus. From there, you can review by style and build from there. It's ok to mix and match styles, that's what I did for my wedding. Pinterest and the Minted Weddings Instagram account is a great resource to see if different styles work well together and get inspiration. And for additional customization, you can submit a design request, which will allow you to adjust fonts, hex colors, and other design elements to your liking. Also our Concierge team is available and you can schedule an appointment with them for free. They can walk you through decisions and explain customization options over email or Zoom. It is super helpful! You get a 1:1 with a real Minted product specialist who can help you narrow down designs, answer your paper type questions, and help through anything else you're spiraling on. I ended up using it myself for my own wedding and it saved me so much time and energy. [https://www.minted.com/lp/concierge](https://www.minted.com/lp/concierge) 🤍 - Jenny

I wouldn’t want to have to mail back an RSVP personally. Just my two cents - websites are free, easy to set up, and as a guest it’s nice not to have to hold onto the physical invite to have all the details. You don’t need a QR code you can just make your wedding website a simple url like minted.com/jackandjill

This really helped me figure out categories I could cut…https://www.minted.com/wedding-ideas/wedding-budgets#budget_breakdown Maybe look for a student photographer Skip the dj/band; do a playlist Skip flowers/decor (or just do bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonnière - maybe from Whole Foods, Costco, Trader Joe’s etc.) Don’t forget to budget for the marriage license and certificate as well as alterations if you go with a bridal gown (see the article for other additional costs) Digital save the dates and invites (I used paperless post) Skip favors Cake from Costco or somewhere similar Congratulations and good luck!!!💍

Minted might be nice from the bride’s POV, but as a guest my beef with it is that it does not allow you to mark the registry gift as “already purchased.” On Zola and Knot, you can just check the box to indicate it’s been purchased. For example, William’s Sonoma was one of the places listed on registry with the items chosen by the couple. I found the same Staub item on Amazon for less, so I wanted it marked off on their minted registry so no one else gave the same thing. On Zola and the Knot, you can simply go to that item and mark as purchased. I believe you have to provide proof (ie amazon order #) just to prove you’re not messing around with someone’s gift registry, but that’s it.
