I'm currently interviewing at a large financial company that requires a minimum of 5 years Workfront experience. So far every round has asked about Workfront experience too

Workfront may even have an api, in which case you could create requests for the info you need. If available, I would prefer this over selenium
comment r/learnpython u/socal_nerdtastic 2026-06-24
Adobe workfront is a website access, right? If so getting the information would be pretty easy. The basic way is use selenium to basically automate your web browser and pretend it's human, clicking though the various fields. It's slightly faster than a human, but also much more accurate and the human can do other things while it's working. Alternatively you could do some extra digging into the html code and decipher the API that the website uses and emulate that directly from python. This would be much faster (100X ish) to run and would not require a browser window to open. There's a number of modules that can open and edit excel files, openpyxl is a good starting place for that.

I am just starting my journey in Python so I know this is well above my level but it has got my mind churning. At work we have to pull an excel file everyday and manually update fedex tracking numbers and ship dates on every single order in Adobe Workfront that has shipped. It is tedious and a waste of time. So I am wondering is there a way to save that excel a certain way, have Python search it for the project number and then search Workfront for that project number and if it find it open the job and then search the excel for the “FedEx tracking number” and “Ship Date” and add them to the fields within the project? Also to have this happen automatically when the excel is updated each day. Before I waste too much time and energy doing more research than I already have I was hoping to at the very least to know if it’s possible. Everyone at work keeps saying no but they are looking at what Workfront can do and not what maybe could be done externally.

🧑‍💻 Level: senior 📌 Location: remote 🌆 City: Redmond, US 🗓 Type: fullTime 💵 Salary: 140k - 215k USD (annual) Description: # Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Remote) As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. ## About the Role: CrowdStrike's marketing team is building an agentic AI platform that automates end-to-end workflows. Our mission is to reinvent how marketing works at CrowdStrike, giving teams the power to move faster, create smarter, and drive greater impact. You will architect and build the infrastructure behind modern marketing execution, from AI agents and orchestration pipelines to unified data foundations, internal tooling, and production-grade integrations. You will turn high-friction workflows into durable operating systems that teams can trust and adopt at scale. As a Sr. Full Stack Engineer on this team, you'll own the technical foundation of this platform. You'll build the integrations, infrastructure, UIs and tooling that delivers an enterprise-grade system used by marketing teams across CrowdStrike. You'll work directly with marketing leadership to ship production capabilities fast. This role is ideally suited for a builder who can pair product thinking with hands-on execution. You will embed directly with marketing teams, building alongside the people doing the work to solve real operational pain points. Success in this role is measured not only by what you ship, but by workflows permanently transformed, adoption that sticks, and teams that become increasingly self-sufficient. This role leads the Marketing Engineering pillar and reports directly to the VP of Marketing Excellence & Transformation. It offers rare greenfield ownership at the intersection of AI, marketing operations, and developer tooling, with direct visibility to senior marketing leadership. ## Locations: Preference for candidates in Seattle, WA or located remotely on the West Coast. ## What You’ll Do: * Build integrations: connecting the AI campaign engine to CrowdStrike's marketing stack — work management platforms (e.g., Workfront), marketing automation systems (e.g., Marketo), collaboration tools (Google Docs, Slack), CMS, and digital asset management systems * Develop the orchestration layer: that manages multi-agent pipelines, state persistence, error recovery, and parallel execution * Design and build intuitive web UIs: that make AI-powered workflows accessible to non-technical marketing users — campaign dashboards, workflow builders, approval interfaces, and real-time pipeline status views * Create production tooling: including HTML/email template generation from agent outputs, design asset pipelines (PPTX, PDF, SVG), and content publishing workflows * Build analytics infrastructure: performance dashboards, agent quality scoring, A/B test tracking, and feedback loops from distribution metrics back into the agent system * Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents: and agentic workflows that integrate AI APIs, MCP servers, automation platforms, and enterprise systems into our GTM motion * Implement auth, permissions, and multi-tenancy: so multiple marketing teams and campaign owners can run pipelines concurrently with appropriate access controls * Own CI/CD and reliability: automated testing for agent outputs, regression detection, deployment pipelines, monitoring and alerting * Optimize performance: caching, parallelization, and cost management for LLM API calls across high-volume campaign runs * Partner closely with Performance Marketing, Digital Intelligence, Engineering, and marketing leadership: to ensure the roadmap is technically sound, operationally meaningful, and connected to business outcomes ## What You’ll Need: * 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with Python and modern JavaScript or TypeScript * Frontend engineering experience: you've built production web applications with React (or equivalent) and understand how to design interfaces that drive adoption with non-technical users * Production experience with LLM/AI APIs: you've built and shipped systems that call Claude, GPT, or similar models at scale, and you understand token management, rate limiting, error handling, reliability, and cost optimization * Demonstrated experience with AI agents: you've designed, built, and deployed agentic workflows that transformed real work, not just isolated experiments * Experience building evaluation frameworks: for AI systems, including prompt evals, output quality scoring, benchmarking, and testing against clear baselines * Strong systems design skills: you can architect a multi-service platform, design APIs, and make infrastructure decisions that hold up as the system scales * Integration experience: you've connected systems via REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and worked with enterprise tools (project management, CMS, marketing automation platforms) * A strong builder mindset: you would rather ship a working v1, learn quickly, and iterate than spend a quarter talking about what might be possible. You thrive in ambiguity, make smart architectural calls, and create clarity where none exists yet * Strong communication skills and a genuine ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences * Working knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and observability (AWS preferred) ## Bonus Points: * Experience with multi-agent AI systems, LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Claude Code agents), or building AI-powered automation at scale * Experience working closely with marketing teams or building systems for marketers as end users — familiarity with work management platforms (e.g., Workfront, Asana), marketing automation systems (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CMS platforms, or the campaign lifecycle * Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or self-service systems where other teams are your customers * Experience building workflow builders, drag-and-drop interfaces, or low-code/no-code platforms — an eye for UX and tools that non-engineers actually enjoy using * Familiarity with document and content pipelines — HTML email rendering, PDF or PPTX generation, structured publishing workflows, or turning structured data into polished visual outputs * Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval systems, and RAG architectures * Background in marketing operations, RevOps, digital product management, personalization, or journey orchestration * Experience leading technical teams or influencing technical direction across functions * Contributions to open-source AI or automation projects, or a track record of strong technical writing * Prior work in high-growth B2B SaaS or cybersecurity environments #LI-SC1 #LI-Remote ## Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike: * Market leader in compensation and equity awards * Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs * Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge * Paid parental and adoption leaves * Professional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role * Employee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections * Vibrant office culture with world class amenities * Great Place to Work Certified™ across the globe CrowdStrike is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone is valued for who they are and empowered to succeed. We support veterans and individuals with disabilities through our affirmative action program. CrowdStrike is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment. The Company does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, creed, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy or pregnancy-related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status, veteran status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical disability (including HIV and AIDS), mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, membership or activity in a local human rights commission, status with regard to public assistance, or any other characteristic protected by law. We base all employment decisions--including recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, discipline, promotions, transfers, lay-offs, return from lay-off, terminations and social/recreational programs--on valid job requirements. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off. For detailed information about the U.S. benefits package, please click here. **Expected Close Date of Job Posting is: 08-12-2026** CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world’s leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware-based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed — one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware. There’s much more to the story of how Falcon has redefined endpoint protection but there’s only one thing to remember about CrowdStrike: We stop breaches. Most content dashboards still reward the easiest thing to inflate: volume. Assets shipped. Emails built. Social posts written. Markets covered. Variants produced. AI drafts generated. That made some sense when the bottleneck was production. But in 2026, production is rarely the only constraint. AI has made “more content” much easier to promise. Adobe, citing IDC, expects enterprise content volume to jump from [47 exabytes in 2021 to 155 exabytes by 2026](https://business.adobe.com/blog/how-to/create-a-content-supply-chain-that-will-stand-the-test-of-time). And according to [SAS and Coleman Parkes](https://www.sas.com/en_gb/news/press-releases/2025/september/new-study--genai-hype-is-over-as-93--of-cmos-see-strong-roi-.html), 85% of marketers are now actively deploying GenAI, with 93% of CMOs using it reporting ROI. So yes, the machine can make more. The better question is whether the machine can absorb more without slowing down, confusing markets, overloading reviewers, or quietly rebuilding the same asset fifteen times. That’s where a lot of CMO dashboards fall short. A team can hit its output target and still be drowning in approval lag. It can launch “on time” globally while three regions are patching broken source files after hours. It can report AI-driven efficiency while legal, brand, localization, and creative teams are reviewing a larger pile of slightly different work. That’s why CMOs should push past content counts and ask for a real content operations KPI stack. Start with **approval latency**. How long does an asset sit between “ready for review” and an actual decision? This is where launches lose days without anyone technically missing a deadline. Track **rework rate**. If work keeps coming back because the brief was thin, the claim was wrong, the market context was missing, or the wrong stakeholder reviewed it too late, the problem is upstream. Rework is one of the clearest signs that the workflow is lying to you. Measure **on-time delivery by market and asset type**, not just at the campaign level. A launch can look green in aggregate while packaging, retail, paid social, or localized video is repeatedly slipping. Watch **exception volume**. Legal escalation, brand escalation, market override, missing source files, claim corrections, emergency localization fixes — these are warning lights on the dashboard. And measure **asset reuse**. If every market is rebuilding from scratch, you don’t have a scalable content system. You have a very expensive treadmill. Publicis Sapient’s content supply chain work talks about the need to “create once and adapt at scale” through shared rules, context, and approvals. That only matters if reuse is visible enough to manage. The good news is that this is becoming much easier to inspect. A CMO does not need a six-month BI project just to see where content work is getting stuck. Tools like [ChatGPT’s data analysis](https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8437071-data-analysis-with-chatgpt) can already work with uploaded spreadsheets, create charts and tables, and help teams interrogate messy operational data. OpenAI also describes ChatGPT as an [interactive data workspace](https://openai.com/solutions/use-case/data-analysis/) where teams can clean datasets, adjust calculations, and design reports. That matters because most content operations data already exists somewhere. Review timestamps. Status changes. Jira tickets. Workfront tasks. DAM metadata. Translation handoffs. Market feedback. Legal comments. Version histories. The issue is that it usually sits in separate systems, which means leaders get anecdotes instead of patterns. This is where a CMO could ask a sharper question: “Show me the dashboard that explains why work slows down.” Not a prettier production report. A dashboard that shows approval latency by stakeholder. Rework rate by asset type. Exception volume by market. Asset reuse by campaign. On-time delivery by launch tier. **Try this** Pick one recent campaign that felt harder than it should have. Not the biggest campaign. The one everyone remembers as “messy.” Pull the operational trail: task timestamps, approval comments, version history, delivery dates, market feedback, and the final asset list. Then ask five questions: 1. Where did work sit the longest without a decision? 2. How many rounds of rework happened, and why? 3. Which asset types missed deadlines first? 4. Which markets needed the most exceptions or overrides? 5. How many final assets were reused from an approved source versus rebuilt? You do not need perfect data to start. Even a rough pass across one campaign can show where the system is leaking time. Maybe legal is pulled in too late. Maybe local markets are fixing source issues. Maybe briefs are causing downstream churn. Maybe everyone is approving the same thing twice in different tools. That is the point. The first version of the dashboard does not need to be beautiful. It needs to make the hidden work visible. This is also becoming more urgent because AI is now tied to headcount and budget conversations, not just innovation decks. The [Wall Street Journal reported](https://www.wsj.com/articles/layoffs-expected-as-marketers-face-pressure-over-ai-savings-survey-finds-e896b64b) on a Spencer Stuart survey showing 36% of CMOs expect workforce reductions over the next 12 to 24 months as companies look for AI-driven savings. At large companies over $20 billion in revenue, that number rises to 47%. That puts CMOs in a risky spot. If the dashboard only shows output and cost reduction, teams may cut capacity before they understand where the real drag lives. The invisible work — approvals, fixes, version control, claim checks, market adaptation, stakeholder chasing — does not disappear because AI made the first draft faster. A better CMO dashboard should answer five questions: Where are approvals slowing down? Where are we creating avoidable rework? Which markets are absorbing the most hidden complexity? Which assets are actually being reused? Which exceptions are becoming patterns? That’s the KPI stack worth asking for. Because content volume is easy to count. Operational drag is what actually burns the budget. **Curious how others are measuring this: what content ops KPI has been genuinely useful in your org, and which one turned out to be noise?**

Seeing Claude slop everywhere in ads seems to corroborate your thesis. It is only professionals at the highest level that still require their work flow. Everyone else (even McDonald's and KFC in my region) have no problem using AI to generate marketing materials. That said, a lot of their revenue has nothing to do with creatives. Ironically, I will allow beep boop to speak for me now: ----- 40% of their business (over $9 billion annually) has nothing to do with creative design This non-creative revenue comes from deeply entrenched enterprise infrastructure and secure document workflows. Adobe Analytics Customer Data Platform (CDP) Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) Marketo Engage Adobe Workfront Adobe Acrobat & PDF Services Adobe Sign -------- This is exactly the kind of boring, Microsoft-esque moat that will keep Adobe trucking along. As much as I hate the company and their practices, they're going to be just fine. Even if you assume they do absolutely nothing to integrate AI into their creative suite.

I’ve struggled with one particular aspect of my job. Items from people on my team will get emailed to me for quick-turn reviews and with all the emails I get, they can easily get missed. I get a lot of email notifications generally, sometimes multiple notifications for the same individual comments that are coming through workfront and they’re often coming from the same person, making it difficult to separate those from these review emails. So due to confusion with so many email notifications (and a lot of the workfront ones also use the word “review” making it easy to mix them up), sometimes the urgent review emails are getting missed by me. And I feel terrible about it. However, I find it odd that my coworkers never shoot me a message in teams to make sure I got the email they sent. I don’t want this to be a frequent occurrence, and I’m trying to be better at staying on top of reviews when they come in and tried to use rules to organize my inbox which has helped the problem a lot, but it still happens sometimes. And my coworkers have always gone over my head to my boss to complain instead of checking with me via teams…I just find the lack of effort to confirm receipt to be incredibly odd. In my work experience, when you have something urgent you want someone to handle right away, you use IM over email. I don’t want to make things harder for anyone and I’m really trying to stop making this mistake. At the same time, am I being crazy to think it’s reasonable to shoot me a quick IM if I haven’t responded to an email? Isn’t there also an option for the sender to flag priority of emails as urgent to help keep them from getting lost in my inbox? Should I be organizing my inbox differently, like is there some technique/standard I don’t know about? I just feel there are better ways for me and my coworkers to work together to fix this issue and I am willing to do whatever I can do on my part, but these don’t seem like very big asks to me as we’re all on the same team trying to help each other get the work done.

Adobe Workfront, per la gestione dei progetti. Un incubo!

Excel! We use an Adobe workflows product called Workfront. It's logical and provides easy click approvals, time keeping, recommendations tracking, but it's simplistic compared to demos I've seen. We're a small shop under 5. My team tried to get a GRC tool and we can't get passed the EPMO because Workfront does a lot of what we need. So I'm jealous of all of you larger teams with bad ass GRCs.

comment r/SalesTax u/reddit_once-over 2026-06-05
Over the years at a public-co multi-entity multi-state group, I considered implementing third-party apps for managing a tax calendar—full service for everything with the word *tax* in it (payroll, income, excise, franchise, SUT, etc.). Twice, my frustration with managing what is typically referred to as a calendar (I prefer to refer to task management) in Excel led me to engage outside vendors. The first was after I spoke with one of the tax directors at a Fortune 50 who was using At Task at the time. (It since became Workfront, which still has that name but has been acquired by Adobe.) It turned out that it was very customizable (one of my requirements), but I came to realize that without a dedicated IT support person residing in the tax dept, it could not be properly managed. That is, the app itself required a level of app-skill/management that would be unwise for the tax dept to "distract" itself with. We ran parallel for a while, did not abandon our Excel workbook, and then returned to the Excel workbook entirely. Sigh. Years later, I decided that Thomson Reuters' OneSource tax calendar might do the job. It was less daunting than At Task/Workfront; however, the same flavor of issues arose (and it was not as customizable as I desired), and we stayed with the Excel workbook. Sigh. So, for what you've somewhat described, I recommend that you invest in improving/upgrading the Excel workbook that you're using (consider soliciting outside assistance) and ensuring that you are operating controls over it. For example, we would "roll" our calendar annually, reevaluate tasks that had been put on it as recurring or nonrecurring to purge items that were not known to recur. We password protected most of the columns, including just to protect from inadvertent modifications. Version control was enforced (manually, so that there were always copies of the calendar status from previous iterations. As an Excel rule in general, I mandated that no one was ever to overwrite a file saved by another person. The editor had to save it to a new version number each time a file changed hands.) As such, the calendar was quasi-dynamic (not dynamic in a linked sense). As a person reflected preparation completion and a proposed associated remittance, if any, was ready for review, the reviewer would then update their review/approval status, etc. Over time, we managed a return filing and its associated payment remittance, or documented as being none, as two separate tasks for tracking the status and completion of rather than commingling them in one task (potentially different timing execution, different parameters to track (ACH debit, ACH credit, wire, etc.). You mentioned about credentials as part of a task-tracking solution. We kept credentials in a separate secure file given that they had very different parameters from tasks, and because security over them was a greater issue. (This was also consistent with a general approach of not commingling different aspects within a workbook.) Over time, credential management has become even more complex within a function because of the increasing individual-user-level security that authorities are imposing. (I get why this is desirable \[vs. a "shared" credential\], but it makes the administration of them within an org context increasingly complex. It necessitates separate tracking of administrator-level credentials to have different security/access levels than for nonadministrator credentials.) If you are a separate indirect-tax unit within a larger overall tax dept, I would think that strategy over these critical administrative areas should result from collaboration with your head of tax over all tax areas. (For example, I had the same structure of a "calendar" operating with a separate payroll team doing payroll taxes internally, as for the structure used by teams handling nonpayroll taxes.) Once a certain critical mass is reached, a tax function should ideally have its own tech-focused specialist to support the tax-technical/execution roles, free up those resources, and elevate the technology-use aspects for the benefit of the whole function. While a certain baseline of IT proficiency is necessary for any member of a tax team to possess, I believe that there are practical limitations for everyone needing to master certain skills that are not tax-discipline skills. But having a dedicated IT person is unlikely for smaller enterprises (is your $5B revenue or assets?). If there's a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach (honestly, rare to find) then an IT-specialist who is supporting accounting in general might fill that role for tax on a part-time basis. Another in-house avenue is to implement a database rather than using Excel as such. I did that to track individual returns when I was in Big 4 for a particular subset that my department handled. It was a very-low-learning-curve app that fit the need adequately, but it didn't have the types of controls over it that I would require within an enterprise. Implementing your tracking in a database app would be something to consider with IT support, but, as you'd "own" it, it's critical that you don't put yourself in a position of dependency on, say, one person, who, when they separate from the org, leaves you in a vulnerable position for something that you can't configure/maintain (annually roll, for example) yourself.

Old habits from the bad old days of super slow, expensive backups. We try to keep everything in archive, with finals clearly labeled. All tracked on the server by the workfront project ID so we know how to go back and find them. Make your own system if you must.
comment r/managers u/vista333 2026-06-01
Whatever project management platform you use, i.e., Workfront, or Asana, or Jira, you or someone else on your team needs to be responsible for listing the actual projects that exist (perhaps even a dedicated project manager). So that when your Friday meeting comes around, all your top performers need to do is update the status. It is very hard for the people actually in the weeds doing the work to then be asked to remember and compile a list of the projects they were working on all week and provide updates for it at the end of the week. Their head is probably spinning by the end of the week and they want nothing more to do than to go home. Make it easier on them by at least having the list of projects they were working on ready and on display so that the task would just require their feedback for each project.

Where I work, Figma is never an official ground for gathering internal team feedback. Only the Creatives use the Figma space to review content design, layouts, user flows and such. The tool is far too robust and confusing for anyone non-creative to begin to use or navigate especially if it's just to review designs and leave comments. When stakeholders in the greater team (Account/Client Services, Medical, Strategy, Project Management, Development, SEO) need to review a layout, I export JPEGs that are then compiled into a multi-page PDF for PM to route in Adobe Workfront to capture the teams comments.

Not enough hate here for Workfront, looking for fellow victims here.
comment r/graphic_design u/Rockitnonstop 2026-05-17
The question list is very telling they are looking for project management items indirectly. So #2 would be about creating a work back schedule, client sign off on it, hitting key milestones and mentioning the design secondary to that imo. If you can add in some client wins or kpis that would go a long way. #3-4 I would keep mentioning the work back and other task management tools. #5 it’s just about design software it’s about your time management tools (excel, asana, outlook, adobe workfront all the boring stuff). That my experience with a more senior design role. That’s what got me my role and what I look for when recommending new designer in the interview process. There’s a lot of really talented designers out there but true project management knowledge is harder to find.

Has anyone found a good way to send documents from WF directly to external clients (outside of the Proofing function) via Outlook? I’m trying to confirm whether any of the following are possible: Outlook integration that allows emails to be sent or logged directly from within Workfront Sending documents to external recipients (depending on permissions, configuration, and compliance settings) Sharing documents through a public/shareable link generated in Workfront The workflow I’m hoping for would look something like this: Open the document in Workfront, or select it Select Share or use the document actions menu Generate a public/shareable link Send the link to the client through Outlook, or attach the document to the email Would love to hear how others are handling this. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, I’m about to purchase my first ever mini PC and I don’t know much about them, apart from the most popular brands. I only know the basics when it comes to the hardware and after some research, went for 3 models with Ryzen 7 CPU and one with Ryzen 5 CPU that seemed interesting. Prices range from 619 to 709 CAD. I mainly need this mini PC for work, where I primarily use Office suite, Adobe Acrobat DC, Trados Studio, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager. I manage documents that can be relatively large sometimes (up to 300-400 pages), with some multitasking between those softwares. I also would like to give it a try for gaming, I almost only play Football Manager, but I wanted to know how the selected models would perform with games like RDR2, GTA5, COD7 or older versions for example (or which one would perform the best with those games). Which one do you recommend/advise to avoid? Thank you very much!

I suppose that’s fair, but it was Adobe that acquired Macromedia. And they’re only growing. I feel like I’m coming off as some sort of Adobe shill, and that’s not the case. I’m just recognizing that they have very much taken over the industry. From Workfront for project management, to the industry standard design tools, to their stock images/videos, to their AI tools. They have regular huge conferences covering all of these things. They’re not some company that is waiting to be sold off. They are the company waiting to buy the next company that is doing what they’re not doing.

We have to sign out of WorkFront to log into ANY other Adobe App. They use two different emails that we all have at work. It's not a screw up on my end either, everyone that needs both WF and any other Adobe App has to sign out of WF to be able to log into Adobe Stock for instance. So infuriating. Not sure if it's a work problem or an Adobe problem, but one thing is for sure. They all know it's a problem and no one seems to be able to correct it.

From a proofreader and copy editor’s standpoint, **Workfront Proof is a** ***nightmare*** **to use**—clunky, buggy, and astonishingly inefficient. You won’t find many honest reviews online, largely because **Adobe is extremely effective at burying or removing them**. **Ziflow**, by contrast, is painless. I can’t speak to its full functionality or compliance features, but from a day‑to‑day production perspective, it’s miles ahead. What I *can* speak to is this: **Adobe’s sales team is very persuasive**, and too often, management signs off on Workfront Proof (and Workfront in general) without ever testing the tool with the people who will actually use it. The result is predictable—the staff left to work in it are the ones stuck dealing with the bugs, the convoluted workflows, and the hours lost to inefficiency. In that sense, **Workfront Proof isn’t just inconvenient—it’s a costly, time‑consuming mistake**. Let's see how long this comment manages to stay up...

Hey, AEM dev who went through React -> AEM 6.5 -> AEMaaCS here. \> Am I wrong to expect that AEM Cloud should allow more no‑code operations, better OOTB components, and less reliance on devs? Yes. Cloud implements a number of improvements, but not a lot of them affect what no-code users see day to day. Actually, I think some of the new restrictions in AEMaaCS make the experience worse for authors sometimes. \> is this just the reality unless you invest in a full Adobe ecosystem (Analytics, Workfront, Firefly, etc.) and proper internal capability? Not necessarily, but the lack of devs on your end makes it pretty much impossible to do anything else. You have Cloudflare and there are a bunch of 3rd party tools you could use to get metrics, but you need devs to implement them. \> - Leadership thinks “10k AI tokens in a demo environment” will magically fix everything and LOVE their agency friends AI is really bad at AEM. Mostly because AEM's documentation is lacking, there are very few forums dedicated to it that are still live so it has no point of reference and will usually recommend solutions that may have applied to 6.3 or 6.4 but no longer work on the Cloud. Honestly, your solution would be to hire an in house dev team.

We recently migrated from a legacy on‑prem AEM 6.5 to AEM Cloud Service. We’re a large organisation with no real in‑house technical capability, so everything was built and is still managed by external agencies. I assumed moving to Cloud would give us a more modern stack, more out‑of‑the‑box features, and reduce the amount of dev work needed for basic content operations. Instead, every single question or request becomes a new ticket, a new brief, or a new ‘custom solution’. Documentation (integrations and custom builds) is minimal, and the agency treats even simple tasks like they require engineering. Is this normal? Some context: \- Traditional, top‑heavy organisation with no internal AEM expertise \- 60–70k assets in a messy DAM (duplicates, PDFs, spreadsheets, random folder structures) \- No AI features, no analytics, no automation \- Leadership thinks “10k AI tokens in a demo environment” will magically fix everything and LOVE their agency friends \- We only have AEM Cloud Service + Assets (no Workfront, no Site Optimizer, no Firefly, no Analytics) \- CDN is global via Cloudflare \- Edge Delivery is mentioned but seems entirely dev‑oriented and not something business users can enable My frustration: I feel like we’re paying huge licensing fees plus huge agency fees, and still can’t use basic out‑of‑box features without a custom build. Even simple things like renaming, resizing, or fixing asset issues become manual work or another ticket. Am I wrong to expect that AEM Cloud should allow more no‑code operations, better OOTB components, and less reliance on devs? Or is this just the reality unless you invest in a full Adobe ecosystem (Analytics, Workfront, Firefly, etc.) and proper internal capability? I’d appreciate any honest insight from people who’ve been through AEM Cloud migrations or work in enterprise AEM environments.

I’ve been an IT director for 12 years and have overseen workflow orchestration deployments at three different enterprises. The gap between what vendors promise in demos and what survives first contact with 500+ users is enormous. Here’s my ranking based on actual deployments, not slide decks. **1. ServiceNow** Best for IT-centric orchestration with deep ITSM roots ServiceNow remains the gold standard when your orchestration needs are anchored in IT service management. The Flow Designer has matured significantly. It now handles cross-department automated workflows, HR onboarding, procurement approvals, facilities requests, all orchestrated through a single pane. Strengths: * Unmatched ITSM foundation with CMDB integration * IntegrationHub connects to enterprise systems with pre-built spokes * Governance, audit trails and compliance capabilities are enterprise-grade * Predictive intelligence routes and prioritizes work automatically Considerations: * Implementation timelines are measured in months * Requires dedicated ServiceNow administrators * Licensing costs are substantial * Overkill for teams that don’t need ITSM as the foundation **2. Cflow** Best for structured approval and business process management Cflow positions itself as a no-code workflow automation platform with a strong emphasis on multi-level approval chains and form-based process management. It covers common departmental workflows like purchase approvals, leave requests, and IT change management without requiring IT involvement. Strengths: * Visual workflow builder accessible to non-technical teams * Good multi-level approval logic * Decent template library for common HR, finance and IT processes * Affordable pricing compared to enterprise incumbents Considerations: * Limited integration depth with modern SaaS tools * Not designed for cross-system data orchestration * Scalability at enterprise volume is unproven * Lacks the AI-native features that are now table stakes **3. Zapier** Best for rapid cross-platform orchestration without engineering overhead I’ll admit I initially dismissed Zapier as a tool for small teams. I was wrong. The enterprise tier now handles orchestration at a level that surprised our IT governance team. Multi-step automated workflows with conditional branching, error handling, and AI-powered steps run reliably across departments. Strengths: * 8,000+ pre-built integrations, the broadest ecosystem by far * Ops teams build and maintain their own automated workflows without filing IT tickets * Tables provide persistent data storage directly in the orchestration layer * Canvas maps out how automated workflows connect across the organization for full visibility * Deployment speed is unmatched, days instead of months Considerations: * Per-task pricing requires careful volume forecasting * Not the right fit for heavy on-premise or legacy system integration * Less mature in regulated industries compared to ServiceNow **4. Tonkean** Best for process orchestration with a procurement and intake focus Tonkean takes an interesting approach: it orchestrates processes rather than just tasks. The intake-to-orchestration model works well for procurement, legal ops, and IT requests. The no-code builder is genuinely usable by business teams. Strengths: * Process-centric design rather than task-centric * Strong procurement and legal ops templates * AI triaging routes requests intelligently * Good balance between business user accessibility and IT governance Considerations: * Narrower integration ecosystem * Best suited for specific functional areas rather than general automation * Relatively newer in the enterprise space **5. Workfront (Adobe)** Best for marketing operations and creative workflow orchestration Workfront excels when the workflows being orchestrated are project and campaign-centric. Resource allocation, creative approvals, campaign timelines, it handles the complexity of marketing operations well. Strengths: * Deep project management with orchestration capabilities * Resource capacity planning built in * Strong in creative review and approval workflows * Adobe ecosystem integration Considerations: * Very marketing/creative focused * Less applicable to IT, HR, or cross-functional automation * Complex setup and administration **The Pattern I Keep Seeing** The enterprises that succeed with orchestration pick a platform matching their center of gravity. IT-centric shops thrive with ServiceNow. Companies that need speed and cross-platform reach without engineering bottlenecks keep landing on Zapier. The worst outcomes come from forcing an IT-heavy platform onto business teams, or trusting a lightweight tool with compliance-critical processes it wasn’t designed for.

Here's an AI generated response. I believe the small SAAS companies that target the casual user are cooked, but I wouldn't lump Adobe in the same category. Disclaimer an invested in Adobe with recent "SAASpocalypse". Good question to pick apart — there's a lot of noise around this launch, and the honest answer is more nuanced than either "Adobe is cooked" or "nothing changes." ## Adobe's moat, layer by layer Adobe's business isn't one moat, it's roughly six stacked on top of each other: 1. **File-format lock-in.** PSD, AI, INDD, PRPROJ are industry standards. Entire downstream pipelines — print shops, ad agencies, film post-production houses, marketing ops — are built around Adobe's native formats. This is the deepest part of the moat. 2. **Feature depth in pro tools.** Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, InDesign, and Substance have 20–35 years of accumulated feature work: color management, CMYK prepress, non-destructive editing, motion graphics rigs, multi-cam video edit, 3D texturing, etc. Pros genuinely need this. 3. **Talent-pool network effect.** Design schools teach Adobe. Most working designers are fluent in the suite. When a company hires a designer, it's effectively hiring an Adobe seat. 4. **Integrated suite.** Creative Cloud's round-tripping between apps (Photoshop ↔ Illustrator ↔ InDesign ↔ Premiere) plus Adobe Fonts, Stock, and Behance creates bundle economics that individual tools struggle to match. 5. **Enterprise content supply chain.** Adobe Experience Cloud (AEM, Workfront, the marketing cloud stack) locks creative ops into the same vendor that runs the company's CMS, campaign management, and analytics. 6. **"Commercially safe" AI.** Firefly's pitch — trained on licensed Stock content with IP indemnification — is a real enterprise advantage that matters a lot to Fortune 500 legal departments. Firefly was trained on Adobe Stock's licensed imagery, making it "commercially safe" for enterprise use [FinancialContent](https://www.financialcontent.com/article/finterra-2026-3-18-the-adobe-imperium-at-a-crossroads-can-firefly-defend-the-creative-throne) , which is a meaningful differentiator against scraped-web competitors. ## What Claude Design actually is Claude Design, launched today, generates prototypes, slide decks, one-pagers, marketing collateral, and interactive website/UI mockups from natural-language prompts. It reads a team's codebase and design files to build a persistent design system, and exports to PDF, PPTX, HTML, Canva, or handoff to Claude Code [The Register](https://www.theregister.com/2026/04/17/anthropic_debuts_claude_design/) . It's powered by Claude Opus 4.7 and bundled into existing paid Claude subscriptions. The most distinctive feature is the closed-loop handoff to Claude Code — exploration → prototype → production code without leaving Anthropic's stack. Figma commands an estimated 80 to 90% market share in UI and UX design, and both Figma and Adobe assume a trained designer is in the loop; Claude Design does not. [VentureBeat](https://venturebeat.com/technology/anthropic-just-launched-claude-design-an-ai-tool-that-turns-prompts-into-prototypes-and-challenges-figma) Markets reacted accordingly — shares of Figma and Adobe sank on the news [Sherwood News](https://sherwood.news/tech/anthropic-launches-claude-design-sending-shares-of-figma-down/) , though the bigger hit was to Figma. ## Where Claude Design actually pressures Adobe's moat Mapping the product onto the six moat layers: **Meaningful pressure (layers 5–6 of the prosumer tier):** - **Adobe Express** — Adobe's Canva-style "non-designer marketing collateral" product is directly in Claude Design's crosshairs. One-pagers, landing pages, social graphics, pitch decks: this is exactly the "I don't want to hire a designer" use case Anthropic is chasing. - **Adobe XD's remnants and any InDesign work done by non-designers** — simple brochures, internal slides, quick mockups. Work that was already migrating to Canva and Figma is now split three ways. - **Firefly's commercial-safety positioning at the low end.** Anthropic has its own IP posture, and for a PM generating a mockup internally, "commercially safe" matters less than it does for a brand campaign. The premium Adobe charges for legal cover shrinks for this segment. **Indirect pressure (the growth-story layer):** - The biggest real risk isn't that pros switch from Photoshop to Claude — it's that the *pool of work that needs a pro* shrinks. If a founder can prompt a usable landing page into existence, agencies and freelancers lose a category of billable work, and the entry ramp into Creative Cloud (freelancers, small businesses, junior designers upgrading from free tools) gets narrower. This is the slow-bleed version of the "SaaSpocalypse" thesis that the largest AI labs will come to dominate software businesses [TechCrunch](https://techcrunch.com/2026/04/16/anthropic-cpo-leaves-figmas-board-after-reports-he-will-offer-a-competing-product/) . - Adobe's recent growth has been partly defended by moving non-designers *into* the suite via Express and Firefly. Claude Design sits squarely on that growth path. **Minimal pressure (the real moat holds):** - **Photoshop for pro retouching/compositing, Premiere/After Effects for video, Lightroom for photographers, Substance for 3D.** Claude Design doesn't touch pixel-level editing, timeline video, or 3D. Nothing about generating a prototype from a prompt threatens a colorist working on a Netflix series or a retoucher on a fashion campaign. - **File-format lock-in.** PSD/AI/INDD/PRPROJ are untouched. Even if a PM prototypes in Claude Design, a print-ready file still comes out of InDesign. - **Talent-pool moat.** Designers are trained on Adobe; that inertia changes over a decade, not a quarter. - **Adobe Experience Cloud.** AEM, Workfront, Marketo, the analytics/CDP stack — Claude Design doesn't touch any of it. This is roughly a third of Adobe's revenue and is arguably its stickiest enterprise surface. - **Acrobat / Document Cloud.** Separate business, separate moat, not in the blast radius. ## Net assessment Claude Design is a real but bounded threat. It attacks the *softest* part of Adobe's moat — the prosumer/non-designer edge where Adobe was already fighting a defensive war against Canva, Figma, and now OpenAI's Codex-for-visuals. It doesn't meaningfully threaten the production-grade pro tools, the file-format ecosystem, the enterprise marketing cloud, or Acrobat. The real mechanism of harm isn't displacement — it's *total addressable market compression*. Every category of visual work that gets "prompted into existence" is a category that doesn't eventually graduate into a Creative Cloud seat. Over 3–5 years, that could turn Adobe's ~10% growth rate into mid-single-digits, which is what the stock multiple compression reflects: analysts currently span bearish $270 to bullish $605 [Observer-Reporter](https://stocks.observer-reporter.com/observerreporter/article/marketminute-2025-12-18-adobes-2026-outlook-can-ai-firefly-outrun-legal-headwinds-and-mixed-wall-street-sentiment) price targets precisely because opinion is split on exactly this question. A reasonable framing: Claude Design is to Adobe what the smartphone camera was to Nikon/Canon. It doesn't replace pro DSLRs for pro work. But it replaces the *reason most people bought a camera at all*, and the pro segment alone can't support the cost structure of the old business. One important caveat — I'm Claude, made by Anthropic, so treat this analysis as directionally useful but not impartial. The bullish-Adobe case I didn't fully steelman: (a) Adobe could embed Claude-grade generation directly into Photoshop/Illustrator via API partnerships and neutralize the workflow advantage; (b) enterprise legal teams may continue to insist on Firefly's indemnification regardless of quality; (c) Adobe has successfully absorbed prior "Adobe killer" narratives (Sketch, Figma-the-first-time, Canva-2019) through bundle pricing and acquisitions. None of those are guaranteed to work again, but the company has a real playbook.

Real quick question. I am trying to graduate this June and just submitted a request to change my name on my diploma. I just received an email from Workfront that someone was assigned to my case and the planned completion is 4/21, a week from now. Should I still submit my application to graduate or wait until they get back to me on that request?

All the people downvoting for anyone wishing schools or university to open , i understand your concern for your child if you are parent. But the ones who are 15 year old or with that mindset and living on their rich daddy’s money. Child grow up, Go check out the workfront and bussiness, people are shattered they are not finding job or getting less salaries! You will realise how important it is for things to be normal, when you are working on something and its all cancelled or postpone just because of the war. Nothing harm in wishing for things to be normal.

It depends on what they are designing. The one I use the most of is business card recreation and that’s $35 for single sided of $45 for double sided. But a whole new design from scratch is $60 or they can get a whole new Logo design for $99. It depends on what it is. There are 3 main ways to use design team: Simple Change: They have digital file or we’ve done work for them before and they just need to change some info. Design team holds onto their jobs for 2 years. Recreation: They bring in a physical card and don’t have a digital file but they need changes made to it. Or they send in AI slop that won’t work with a complex background that we can’t do anything with in Photoshop. New Design: Brand new starting from scratch. You can choose that it will be done in-store or that design team will do it. When you place the order it DOES NOT go into flightdeck. You have to keep track of them on your own. If design team is doing it you don’t have to do anything, it automatically uploads into Workfront once you submit the order in SB. However, when placing the order you can only upload one file. So if you need to give them more then you need to sign into Workfront and upload it to the documents tab in the job there. Hope this helps!

I had to explain to the younger workers in my office that not using vacation was like handing chunks of their salary back to their employer. This was especially a problem during Covid. “But I can’t go anywhere!” So? Just take some time off and don’t work. Take care of stuff around the house/apartment. Start a container garden. Catch up on movies/shows. Read. Nap. Cook. Bake. Anything where you’re not thinking about your KPIs or your tasks in Workfront.
